- Administration weak, things had to cross checked multiple times before the system got updated
- Placements after B.Sc not quite good, need to look for off campus options
- Students not allowed to participate in internships during the course
Course Curriculum Overview
The subjects are very relevant considering the growing industry, and each and every subject was taught in depth. Apart from that optional subjects were also provided to develop soft skills and other skills required like finances, spoken english, and math. The examination was good and did not put much pressure on students.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided by the college in plant and microbial biotech department. Stipend is provided too along with LOR and certificates and great mentorship. Adds to the CV also internship in IRSHA available.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite resonable considering the facilities provided both in class room and lab. The only issue is that the principal did not really consider payment of fees in more two installments considering financial conditions and students were greatly bothered during the examinations. The fees though kept changing every year which is unlikely for any institute.
Campus Life
The campus is big and beautiful and there is a big canteen five mins away from our building inside the campus. There is a seperate girl's hostel that the college suggests and there are regular bus services. Tiffin services are provided and stationary shops and bookstores are located nearby too. There are multiple committees that students can take part in as per their interest. NSS camps are also organised by the college. Regular sports meet conducted too as well as intercollege competition.
Admission
The course required us to clear BVP- CET which was conducted in online proctored mode. The application process was quite smooth and admission staff were pretty supportive too and guided during the entire process.
Faculty
The faculty members are exceptionally qualified and give students time if needed too, there expertise in their subjects is well highlighted in the quality of lectures provided. Presentation based learning projects are given for better understanding. Various teachers provided handwritten notes.
