I have choosed electrical and computer branch.I chose this branch because of its high placement opportunities.I can attend interviews of both electrical and computer companies.The curriculum focuses on the core subjects of both branch.If you have a basic knowledge in coding you will get a good placement.Regular exams are conducted in TKM to analyse your knowledge.

Many companies provide internship opportunities to TKM college of engineering.KSEB, KELTRON, MALABAR CEMENTS are the companies that I know.Many companies also fund the projects of students off TKM college of engineering

Tkm offers you good placement opportunities.The main companies that have offered placement opportunities to graduating students of TKM college of engineering are oracle,Wipro, TATA, Federal Bank etc. The college has good infrastructure and facilities.Placement packages range from 4-5 LPA to 15-20 LPA.The college has good placement opportunities in the IT sector. The placement cell of the college is very effective.The college conducts placement events with reputed firms.

There is no tuition fee increase policy in our college.If you get a merit seat you have to pay only around 12000 per year as your tuition fee which is really low.But if you are opting for hostel facility you have to pay around 6000 per month for hostel.Yhe campus provide many scholarships and financial aids for students from weaker sections of society.

Hestia TKM is the annual techno-cultural fest of TKM College of Engineering in Kollam . The event is a celebration of talent, creativity, and innovation, with technical and cultural events, workshops, expos and talks.TKM has two libraries one Central library and department libraries.Classroom have all the modern facilities like projectors,smart board,Mike facilities etc.The extra-curricular activities in TKM College of Engineering include - Arts Club: a platform for students to express themselves creatively,Film and Drama Club: a club that encourages students to express themselves through films and dramas, National Service Scheme (NSS)responsibility in students,STEPS: a platform for students to develop their skills,Anti-Drug Cell: a cell that works to prevent drug abuse among students,Women Cell: a cell that works to empower women,Green Cell: a cell that works to protect the environment,SAE INDIA TKMCE Collegiate Club etc

The eligibility to get admission to TKM college is based on Plus two marks and KEAM rank.if you are from general category try to achieve a rank below 7000 to get a merit seat.if you have any reservation then look at the previous year rank cutt of of keam. Keam exam is conducted once in a year.Try to complete the keam syllabus and try to do many previous year question papers of keam for securing a good job.

The faculties of TKM college of engineering is really good.Teachers are better when compared with other non professional aided Colleges.The faculties have good experience.They are always ready to support and guide us.We can approach them whenever we need.
