60% in 12th was the eligibility. Took admission through AKTU counseling. I had no reservation benefits as I was a general candidate. Had a bisemester course with two internal CTs and a final University exam. The admission process should have been more smoother with proper digital guidance beforehand and taking open houses for QnA.

The Electronics and Communication engineering course of KIET was well known in the AKTU. The faculty were well versed with the subjects. The course curriculum prepares the students with the basic understandings of the field and prepares a strong foundation for the students. The course curriculum could have been improved with including more hands on experiences related to the current industrial requirements and more digitalized course materials. The frequency of internal tests and quizzes should have been self - paced instead of rigid schedule based and the difficulty should have been a bit on the higher side.

Students become eligible for campus internships and placements from 5th semester (3rd year). The various companies that visited the campus were Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, ZS Associates, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Consultad , Congruex, Zigram Data Technologies, Lowe's, HUL, DXT labs , Innovacer, etc with 300-400 offers in total. Highest package was from Amazon and Flipkart which was 27.5 lpa and average package was around 6-7 lpa Around 85-90% students were placed in my batch. I would like to go for higher education after graduation.

Tution fees increases each year without any set policy but it is not irregular or multiple hikes. The complete cost of my education, including tution, service fees, and other compulsory charges was around 11-12 lacs for 4 years. There were two scholarships offered , one was the state government scholarship based on reservation and one was merit based scholarship. I had undertaken an internship from the campus in a startup with 18k/month stipend.

The annual cultural fest of KIET is called Prastuti @ Epoque and the annual technical fest is called Innotech. The Library is fully furnished with almost all the basic and advanced books and journals of various fields and is kept up-to-date as per the industry standards. The classrooms have smart boards, projectors , ACs and white boards for teaching with grat seating arrangements. The College offers various clubs im the field of sports and extracurricular activities like singing, dancing, coding, robotics, etc...and each club has its own designated room in the college too. Uddeshya is a big student-run NGO social group and it helps the poor and needy kids by providing them good food, basic education, medical services and clothing.

The hostels have single , double and triple sharing rooms. The newer hostel's rooms have air conditioning too. The room has beds , almirah and table and chairs provided already. The meal served in the hostel mess is of good quality and a mess committee of the students is also set up in each hostel to look after the needs of the students. Menu also changes each semester by the mess committeeafter taking the suggestions of the students. Registration for the hostel happens along with the admission procedure. The hostels are on a bit costly side but are still not too overpriced. Muradnagar, Ghaziabad is the locality around our college hostels if anyone wants to look for rented room or PG.
