Course Curriculum Overview

4

Courses curriculum were good but i do have they should include more skill abses things rather tahn including yoga and biology as a subject fro bech students. The cirriculum is designed to preare for real-world but somewhere it lacks as it feels rather than improving our skilla or anything it just focuses on how much we can inhale and exhale at our tests. the cirriculum should be more focused on skill bases things for mainly the enginneering students and subjects that are not required should either be eft out and instead of those we should be made to work upon skillset that will make us prepared for real world problems.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

most of the companies that vist us during 6th or 7th semester offer internship oppertuninties but genrally not even around 50% students get chance there, there are certain companies that take hundreds of studets for internships thats a good thing cz u get experience from an internship but theree are not enough internship oppertuninties to be honest.

Placement Experience

3.5

afer 6th semester students start getting offers some students do gert internship ffers in 6th sem, this year not very large number of companies visited but delliote took a large number of students, pwc, kpit, kpmg, chubb ,hsbc, highradius are someof the companies i can remember as my friends have got job ffers here

Fees and Financial Aid

talking compartively the fees here is high, if one stas in hostel and completes the course over 4 years at aorund 17-18 lakhs would be the all round fees structure for one student. there areb very few scholarships provided ,talking about campus placements you can never be sure of that last year it was good but this year it was below average as seen, most of the students get places but since students number is high, mass recruitment happens here, even teach su=tudents are given sales placements and all.

Campus Life

4.5

we have quite good campus life here ,we have fest each year where we have a dj night, a cultural night and a star night. There are lots of cafes and resturants around the campus so it is never the problem to hangout with friends . There are playgrounds and clubs inside the univeristy also one can easily participate in anything they intrest in weather it be content writing, social work, robotics, singing, dancing etc

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility is quite average here. the rooms yu get provided with is quite good and spacious but the food is very average . I personally had to eat outside most pf the time as the food in hostel sometimes can be so bad that you can barely eat. Menu is tempting as yu will be provided with options to eat from but rather than focusing on options they should stick to fewer options but make it good and tasty . Talking bout hostel you get faciliyties like washing machine, your room and bathrooms get cleaned almost everyday so these things were good.

Admission

Admission process is quite simple in colleges like these(private colleges) if you are willing to pay the college fess which is generally highb for KIIT you can easily get admission here theydo have their own Entrance exam KITEE you can easily clear thatband get admitted here.

Faculty

4

The umber of studets here is very high ,we had 26 section for just computer sciece batch and and there are more branches too and apart from btech medical, law, management which makes it a huge campus but also so much crowded. Tho just talking about my course we were around more than 2000 including IT and CSSE.Even with this high number of students they have enough teaching faculties. All of the faculties are well experienced but some of them just teaches just for the sake of sylabus not for the understadig of students just very few most of the teachers are pretty good. there is a smart tv , a projector and a white board in classroom bt most of the teachers just use smart tv for ppt and thats all theree are few teachers who use whiteoard and all ,makes us use book but few of them just reads the ppt along and make us go through that. We can iteract with every teacher without any hesitation anytime we want, teachers are given a cabin, infact i am doing a reasearh papaer with the help

Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students. The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini. The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
