Remarks

The college is well managed but students have fewer internships and food and hostel facilities are not much good.

Entrance Preview

It is a nice college in Nashik as my some of the relatives also studied in this college. The college has good teaching staff and faculty with good facilities. Spacious labs and training areas. It has many branches. I personally was interested in mechanical engineering and I think it's the best college for engineering in Nashik.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I would assess the course curriculum by adding more and detail studies about the subject and more project choices among them with more examples in it. Study the knowledge base of teaching and learning. Accept all who enter the classroom door. Plan for instructional management . Teach with a variety of strategies. Use assessment to inform students of their achievement. Keep the passion.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, are college provides some locally and good internships. The companies are not much known. The general stipend is around 2-5 lakh p.a.Not many of them get interns and due to lack of well-known companies not much them accept interns.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement is not much good as many of local companies offer low packages as many of them are in opt to get good packages. It rarely that some good companies offer placement but are limited. Students rather opt for placement cells which are not associated with colleges.

College Events

3.5

Cultural fest, debates, robotics, campaigns, programme, celebration sports events, medical checkups, gatherings, engineering events happen frequently and many promotions are also organized by the college in the campus. medical checkups are the most event organized in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive as college charge much money for better facilities. The fees are around 1 lakh per year and some of them are getting scholarships by the government and expenses are quite moderate here. Everything is charged here in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, the scholarship is offered to some of the talented students. No loans offered to the students rather students approach to banks for students loan with benefits.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus is quite nice and has the capacity to handle the crowd and has spacious parking for students. The labs are clean and quiet spacious with the good and well-equipped library for students.W e have a well build Sports ground for sports events and cultural fest, the auditorium for events such as promotions, the exhibition organized by companies the experience is quite good with them.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel is quite good and is expensive for students it's better to live in a private apartment. The mess food quality is not much good and it's expensive as compared to hotels in Nashik. Its taste is also not good. It's full of unhealthy food and food is not properly cooked sometimes.

Alumni/Alumna

They were helpful to us in some cases of projects practicals and study materials provided by them and idea of study for this year.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is quite simple 2 semester per year and 5 unit test and 4 practical exams for students. The final reports are based on all of average and the year starts with a unit test with one month gap to other the mid term and 3 unit test continuous and last semester.

Admission

The admission in the college was based upon merit list and MCH-CET marks. I got my admission at 2nd Merit list. Only a few seats were left for mechanical branch and I was lucky I got the seat. For the mechanical branch, there are 150 seats. The admission was too simple provided them some documents such as mark sheets and all proofs.

Faculty

3.5

To assess the faculty who are passionate and knowledge with more experiences. Faculty with good social and communicating skills. They must have the ability to bring a spark in students and treat everyone equally. They are able to help students with their doubt and problems faced by students in their curriculum.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
