Likes
- Our college's unique style of campus, our college area is short but it has a accomodation of 2 building joined together and 4 floors with 30+ rooms having capacity more than 130 students
- Sports quota : The students who are in any sports group i.e, football, cricket, badminton etc have special benefits towards the fees payment from the faculty.
- Our faculty: Our faculty which includes teachers, non teaching staff, canteen staffs and office staffs all help us in all the way possible.
Dislikes
- The inactive classes: As our college is a prime place for votes and voting booth our college is often closed due to vote purpose.
- Our college though consists of 4 floors but there is no proper escalators or lifts so it is a little hectic to go with the stairs.
- Our playing ground: The back side of our campus has a small area which is used for playing purpose, but often it is occupied by building equipments.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I had commerce in my secondary and higher secondary education so it helped me to enrich my education with what I had learnt earlier. The things that I learnt like GST, e filling and other accounting related topics will help me in industrial purpose. The course is new to me so I am not sure to tell what to enhance but I would like to add that is some practical things will be practiced like teaching balance sheet using original industrial balanced. We have semester exams and our college has 3 year 6 semester, each year consists of 2 semesters. And the exams aren't that much tough but if will be if we don't study.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college has different fees structure like 1. Admission fees - 3000 to 3500 2. Semester exams fees - within 500 Our college also provides Vivekanand Scholarship for boys and girls and Kanyasree for girls. And there are special quota while addmission for backward class group .
Campus Life
Our college organizes blood donation camps, Movie promotions, Any brand promotion or any seminar for our benefit. Apart from these also our college organizes frst once in a year, Teachers day, and the main festival for which our college is famous that is Saraswati Puja. Our college has 2 libraries which contains virant amount and types of books for our 6 diffenent semesters. Our classroom has smart board and mic and speaker system so that all the students can properly hear what is being teached. Our college promotes sports like football, badminton, athletics and other sport games. Also the students who are in the any of the team which represents college has special benefits towards fees payment.
Admission
Our college opts for atleast 80% for the addmission but as our batch was the COVID batch so all the transactions and application was through online. I had 79% and my name was in the 3rd list. But the student after our batch required min 70% marks in best of 5 to get addmission. Our college do not entertain any illegal addmission. For OBC the cutoff percentage is a bit low like 60%. The college do not take any entrance exams and it is fully based on the marks of Higher Secondary.
Faculty
The faculty is good towards the first year as they need the main attention and importantance of college, But on the other hand the college has very handful teaching staff for the last year which is the main semester. The faculty all though has full support towards students at any point of time. We can interact with teachers withing the college hours as well as after but withing a limited time.
