Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course overally is descent and offers comprehensive learning on various aspects. Few subjects out of the course as mine is B.Tech to be specific doesn't offer you proper curriculum as needed for your degree. To be specific for the subject 'AI' we were only being taught theoretical concepts instead of teaching its practical applications in real-life.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

There are lots of projects, research papers to do under your desired faculty, you just need to be in great contact with whomesoever you wanna do the project. Even in the 6th year of your B.Tech degree they'll make minor project compulsory for you. Apart from that you will get great exposure in doing projects and research papers and ofc you'll need to pay for the publication of your research paper where the person under whom you are doing the paper will pay in few percentage. Overally it all depends upon your zeal to perform a certain task rest you'll get everything be it support or exposure.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements in our college as they display to be "100%" is ofc not the case as nobody is perfect like we know so I would be giving the rough estimate and what I feel is 85% or so. The main problem is even if you are just getting your internship and not being placed then also they count you to the "placed" category. Many companies like LTMindtree, Adobe, Google, Phillip's, TCS, PandoAI etc visits for offering placements. Highest and lowest package totally depends, there's no fixed LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee has increased since the last year which is being followed for the upcoming batches and we're lucky to be in the 4th year XD, though in our case it's not low. Various companies come for hiring students even few companies give their 1st and 2nd visit. Based on the KIITEE exam you get qualified for getting selected and for the scholarships which can even be upto 100% based on your performance in the exam.

Campus Life

4

There are annual fests happening every year and in the last year in 2023 carnival of 16 days was being held for the celebration of 25 years. Coming to college life and all toh it's good overally except the worst thing I feel being a girl is our in-time which restricts us a lot but yeah you will get many snakes too in your journey, that's gonna happen for sure. Apart from that there are many sport complexes, a whole KIIT stadium and it's going to be very beneficial if you are an athlete or a sport There's a central library of 4 floors which is quiet interesting to explore. Its overall infrastructure and ambience is amazing, you will love exploring that place more than reading XD. Also over here it's very difficult to be single, you'll see more than half of the kiit is in relationship. But yeah I won't deny this fact that you'll get pure friends too not in great numbers but yes atleast 1 for sure. This place is full of lessons and you'll learn a lot and get both bad and good memories.

Admission

There are 4 phases of the KIITEE exam where I attempted for the last phase and got selected for admission. And ofc your selection depends upon the result of your 10th, 12th board results too which I don't remember exactly but it's one of the eligibility criterias. You are suppose to give 5 branch preferences out of the options and based on your KIITEE exam performance and eligibility you are being alloted the respective branch.

Faculty

5

The faculty members are mostly highly qualified who have various degrees in their plate except few. The faculty-to-student ratio is quiet decent as i believe. The teachers over here are very approachable it only requires you to be very polite, gentle and respectful towards them then you are good to go.

Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
