Actually i gave the CUET entrance exam and my target was only 2 universities DU (Delhi University) and BHU (Banaras Hindu University). I also got selected in the Bhu banaras hindu university and it was my dream university because there was a huge campus of bhu and iit was also there and there were hostel for students. But my parents said Banaras (Varanasi) is too far from my hometown so they didn't gave me permission to go to bhu then i got only one option left and that was Delhi University and I got sri Aurobindo college in my first round list. i applied in various other colleges universities like JNU,BHU, AU and various other. Among which I got the call letter from half of them , including DU as well and since I personally felt like DU has more reputation then the others,this made me join Delhi University. I am in DU but the DU has many colleges under it and my college is one of them. I have applied for other colleges also but we can choose which college we want to go ourself it happens through CUET after that we get our college through our preference list and marks.I also got choosen in BHU and many other ones but choose this to get new experience and wider perspective about things as Delhi is very popular and people want to study here .I didn't get selected to other colleges under DU that was on my preference list was due to the cut off as cutt off for DU north campus university are very high and seats are less also many seats are reserved and there are quotas also.The cut off for South Campus are in between 650-550 that's how i get my college.The the admission occurs in rounds you can upgrade if you are not satisfied with your college but at one point you cannot upgrade as per your marks that is the suitable colkege you can get.CUET is the most preffered exam and to get into big government universities you have to give this .There are also universities that give admissions without CUET many private universities come under this category....Read More

Okay, so this is a very interesting story at my time. There was an introduction of an entrance exam called CUET, where I appeared for written and I scored basic 690÷8000 we were told to make a reference list, according to this marks, we have obtained Obviously I wouldn't have chosen this college because it is a part of South campus. I have preferred all the north campus colleges over the South campus colleges, but having hard luck, I got this one. I was not happy to come here because I basically not belong to this place but When I have made friends over here, I have introduced to the teachers and introduced to the college environment now I feel good. Even I thought about the migration process but again and luckily it didn't happen. Yes, now I have money left. I need to spend it quite happily and yes, I am quite happy with my college and my overall experience is very healthy, very good....Read More

Applied and admitted to desh andhu college. But selected Sri Aurobindo college due to favorable course available in this college. No, I have not been rejected from any other college. I applied online and on the merit basis got admission here. Eleigiblity was 12 pass and preferred course is Pol sc hons history hons, with cutoff around 99%. Overall exam experience is lengthy and time consuming....Read More
