Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Persuading medicine is a Nobel profession. Iam grateful to have taken MBBS .I got a free seat in the government medical College The curriculum is known as Competency based learning, which ensures that we have an early clinical exposure in the postings in hospital with patients. Yes, MBBS will have burden on our heads regarding studying huge lessons forms huge books Exams are held as 3 internal assessment and 1 final exam

Internships Opportunities

4

Final year that is the 5th year is the internship We will be allocated to various departments and we can be exposed to many clinical scenarios. We are given a chance to diagnose and treat the patients ourselves Stifend about 30000/- per month is given

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for our college is 58000/- per year It's a 5 year course Hostel fee per year is 25000/- and mess bill is separate for each month We can avail government scholarships such as SSP, FFP etc Final year gives us an opportunity for internship

Campus Life

4

Overall social life is very good. We get government holidays for all festivals There are abundant amount of books in the library which includes all the subjects form 1st to 5th and other journals, magazines, newspaper etc Students clubs are present such as Sports club, eco club , scientific club ,literary club etc

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are good. We are alloted sharing rooms with 4 people per room and shared toilets (2 for each floor) They are cleaned by the cleaners everyday Hostel mess serves food 3 times and day ...it tastes average

Admission

We took NEET exam as an entrance exam and Attended state counseling to get government colleges Cut off depends on the reservation category for OBC , sc ,st ,general Admission process was smooth We had to hand over a bunch of certificates to them

Faculty

4

The faculties are themselves certified doctors. They take lecture classes and also clinical classes during posting hours in the hospitals . They make sure that we understand the basics and apply them on the patients for effective learning The faculty to students interaction is but limited but they make sure to clarify any doubts if we approach them

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
