Remarks

It is very expensive to study here even for giving the end SEM exam they charge 1000 rupees.

Entrance Preview

It has got a nice placement from the beginning. Many companies visit here to recruit. Almost 100% placement happens. It is a very famous University in India as it has a school called"Kalinga Institute of social sciences (kiss) where our founder sir nurture them for free from standard kindergarten to post graduation & those who are good in sports they have a very good scope here.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is good, is all I can say. All engineering colleges have the same problem. They all go by the old syllabus from past. It should be like what is needed that only should be taught and more emphasis should be given on that thing. Practicals should be taken seriously as compared to theory. In fact, engineering is all about practicals.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know about our internship process. But we get 2 No objection certificates for doing the internship outside anywhere we want.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement and job opportunities are wonderful. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, TVS, BOSCH, come here to recruit students. The first shortlist students through various procedures. First the written test on aptitude, reasoning. Then comes the group discussion and then the interview process occurs. If you made through the written and group discussion process then only you can reach to interview process.

College Events

5

This University is for events is all I can say. Each and every day is full of events. Not a single day is an off event day. Various types of events occur of different branches and anyone can take part in these events as a lot of opportunities for students to showcase their skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are very expensive. If you are poor then you cannot or I can say you shouldn't opt for this University. In 2016 it is 16 lakhs for a total of 4 years of engineering. It may change or increase after 2020 to a little more. So if you can study and do good in any college then with less also you can achieve a lot more.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, loan facilities are available. But I haven't opted. They have a partnership with Allahabad bank. From that, they provide loan facility I suppose.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is very good. It is a very crowdy ambiance every time. yes, many competitions happen such as robotics debates and many more. Events are always going on. In mechanical we have more boys as compared to girls but in other branches it is opposite.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are very good than any other universities. At the time of admission, they provide a pillow, bucket, bed everything we need to stay to each and every student. Mess food is average is all I can say.No matter it is good but still it doesn't change eventually. Every week the same menu goes on.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, seniors are helpful. If you get in touch with your seniors they can guide you with beneficial knowledge about Everything.

Exam Structure

Examinations happen in a gap of 1 month. In a gap, a 1 months mid-seems happen and same for end items also.so it is good that examination gets over very quickly and we get a longer summer vacation around 3 months.we have mid seems of 20-25 marks and the end seems of 60 marks and the rest marks are of activities and assignments.

Admission

After the entrance examination, a rank will be provided to each student and a counseling procedure will be held and there you have to fill up all the requirements ( a form will be given to select the branch) and attach 10th & 12th marksheets and many more basic details.

Faculty

2.5

Faculties are good. They clear our doubts as they have faculty chamber we can go there and ask for doubts they are always ready to clear our doubts. Some teachers notes were very good and some teachers teaching style is good. Teaching should be in a great way.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
