Course Curriculum Overview

As a BE Computer student,course curriculum was good. But faculty should concentrate on practical sessions also. Because in future,practical knowledge will only earn you respect in computer world.

Very less companies are coming to offer internship. Companies like persistent always offer internship,sponsership to students. Students only need to hunt for internship more often.

In computer IT department,whoever got 60 or above 60%,everyone got placed in MNC's. Below are the companies that came Infosys 3.2 LPATCS 3.2 LPA,Wipro 3.2 LPA Zensar 3.2 LPA,Persistent 3.5 LPA,QC 4.5 LPA.

M pulse This is college technical event which take place for 3 days. This is the big event and many participants are coming from verious colleges. Cultural event there is no specific name to this event but students are celebrating Saari day,mismatch day,traditional day with great enjoyment.

For Open category annual fee goes around 95K for OBC category annual fee goes around 50% concession so fee structure is not very different from other engineering colleges.

College campus is really happening as it is at the centre of Pune city. There is equal gender ratio in college. I have never seen racism,sexual harassment,gender inequality in nearby region.

Hostel Facilities

No Boys hostel in this college till 2011. So boys have to stay in rental apartments.Rental apartment 3-4 K per student, PG - 5-6 per student Girls hostel is there just behind the college.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors are helping all the time whenever needed. College often invite senior students for visit lectures. Alumni meet happen every year in college and senior students are always there in FB college groups.

Exam Structure

One semester consist of one internal unit test,and marks are considered for assessment during term work score. Practical labs are regularly happened in college.

Faculty

If talk about theoretical part,faculty is good in that. But on technical front they are not up to the mark. Practical session should be conducted more.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
