Great college with great ambience

As a student, i only found good things in my college. The management of the college was very unique.

It was a well known college in Haryana of that time. The environment, the ambience of the college was very attractive. The placement prospect of the college was much impressed. The college gains much attraction of the students due to its location, its infrastructure. It had a huge campus area with all facilities & amenities itsel in the campus. It also had a management college & a dental college.

I got admission in B. Tech in Electronic and communication engineering course. It was a 4 year programme with 8 semesters. I took this trade because it was famous for its placements prospects. I find this course very intresting. I enjoyed it very much.

Yes, our college was providing internship. But I was not an intern. I was part of a full time B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering student.

Placement was very impressive. Many MNCs and other companies took part in the job fair organized in the college every year. Students from all the streams took part in the job fair. There were a lot of companies for every related stream. College also arranged for its students to took part in many off campus drives.

College organized many fest and events during my stay in that college. I witnessed alteast 7-8 big events during my tenure between 2007-11. College organized many technical events like robo war, programming master, technophilia etc. in which students from other colleges were also invited to take part. A big fest was organized every year in which many number of sponcers participate.

At my time, the total college fees for one year was around 70-80 thousands. As i was a hostler, which was itself in the campus, i had to pay an extra amount of Rs. 30,000/- per annum as hostel fees. There were scholarship for students in merit and those belongs to SC/ST category. Fees was reasonable for that time.

The campus of the college was awesome. The environment was excellent. There was a huge campus to do all the activities like playing basketball, tennis, cricket etc. Gender ration was 1:1. Students from all over India were on our campus. The college organized many events like robot wars, technophilia during the fests. They were awesome.

I had one of the best time in my life during my stay in hostel. Hostel was located in the campus itself. There were four students in one room. Each had a separate almirah, a bed and a study table. The infrastructure of the hostel was very gud. In addition, the quality of food provided by mess was at par. We had variety of food every day and it was nice.

The college organise alumni meet time to time, almost every year. Our faculty are still in touch with us through email and sms. They invites seniors and alumni of college every year to get together.

Our college was affiliated to MDU University Rohtak that time before it becomes a deemed university. The semester exams were taken by university itself at the end of every semester. Apart from that there were assessment exam taken by college itself, two times during every semester. Their marks were added in the final semester exam.

At that time, a common engineering entrance exam was there i.e AIEEE. I got a good rank in that exam in 2007. In the first councelling itself, i got this college. After thst i had submitted my documents and other requisite educational certificates at the college campus.

My stream was B. Tech in Electronic and communication engineering course. Our faculty for every semester was different. Our faculty was very cooperative and knowledgeable. We enjoyed their teaching methods. The quality of teaching was above the bechmark. 9/10 for faculty.
