Mid sem and End sem exams are conducted every semester and it's difficulty level is moderate
Internships Opportunities
HighRadius takes a good number of students for internships from IT branches & generally the stipend is around INR 14,000. It completely depends on your skill if you can land an internship with any company. You have to keep looking out for postings on linkedin. Kiit itself organizes summer internships but they are usually unpaid.

Campus Life
Kritarth in August, kiitfest in February, chimera in October, kiit masterchef in November and many more Kiit has one of the biggest libraries ans it is literally packed with books. It is centrally AC and makes up for one of the best spots in Bhubaneswar. There are projectors and smart screens in every class with a greenboard. All classes are AC. There is a massive sports stadium with a huge field and an indoor stadium too. Multiple sports competitions and championships are conducted throughout the year and all facilities are provided. There are loads of societies to choose from, whatever youre interested in you can go for. I am currently part of the dance and fashion society

You will also be provided with bedsheets, pillow, pillow cover, bucket, mug, cup. Mess food is not very tasty on most days but its healthy and better than most places. Registration is easy, it happens with admission into Institute. And I would say it is pretty affordable too compared to the standard of living and amenities. Within hostels there are study rooms, and a sports complex is also available.
Admission
Over 75% in boards to be eligible. KIITEE registration available on their website and there are no registration fees to take the exam. The difficulty level is easy compared to JEE MAINs and moderate compared to VITEEE. Cutoff is around 80 percentile up for CSE branch, for IT its 70 percentile up.
Faculty
Every subject is taught by a subject matter expert with a specialisation degree in that subject. Some of the faculty is quite helpful and you can even contact them outside of the classroom, visit their respective offices for doubt clearing and even call them after college hours. Some teachers teach off presentations while others break every topic down to help the students understand better. The questions in the exam come from notes given in the classroom itself so I would say teacher's notes are important. There are 90 students in my class and there are two mentors who supervise the overall well being of every student, including academic and social growth. The first Saturday of every month we have a mentor-mentee meeting where we can address our issues to our mentors and they look into that matter. Overall my faculty members have been quite helpful.
