Likes
- Firstly i like the location of this college as it us not very far from the main city. You can easily get market place and all other necessary stuff without any inconveniences as it is covered with market place and you can easily get your ruirement .
- Their is no any issue of attendance as techers are very understanding so you can prepare for your future exams.
Dislikes
- I don't life it's sports facilities as it as only one ground very both sports are played thatis football and cricket and other sports facilities are also not up to the mark
- The teaching staff is not very sinsere as they don't pay much attention on students and are sometime very irresponsible
Course Curriculum Overview
See this is the second ranked government institute affiliated to AKTU under Uttar Pradesh government. And it is also concerned as the best instudte for civil engineering. The frequency of the exam is also decent as you will get enough time between your end semester papers and even in practical also.
Placement Experience
After sixth semester or after third year you are eligible for placement if you are having the required skill needed by the companies. The type of companies approaching for placement are quite decent and well knowned companies like TCS and TATA Lim., JINDAL STEELS, etc....
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee does not increase much as i have payed almost same ammount in all four years. That is around 70 thousand rupees in which 10K hostel fee is included. you get proper scholarship also from the up government and if you are not getting any scholarship them the institute also provide scholarship based on your academics performances.
Campus Life
The college organises many fest among which the most popular fests are TVARAN which is their sports fest and ANUBHUTI which is their cultural fest in which many colleges take part like IIT BHU, MMMUT, MNIT, IIT KANPUR and other colleges.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel provided are quite decent and they look after proper cleaning and maintenance of the hostel. The fees of the hostel is around 10K which is included in the addmission fees which you submitted during the time if addmission. The food quality is also good but ofcourse you will not get that ghar wala feeling in the mess but they are alao good and maintain hygiene while preparing food and at the time of serving the food also.
Admission
Geting addmission is very easy first clear the jee mains exam and then sit in the uptu councilling which is controlled by the aktu. The cuttoff is around 85 percentile for civil engineering. After you get the seat allotment leter just come to college submit your documents and fees and you got the addmission. The addmission process is very smooth and the staff is also very cooperative.
Faculty
The faculty are highly qualified as it is a government institute so obviously all the faculties are government professional. They are highly educated and even some of the teachers have experience of almost 20 years of teaching. The student and easily get interacted with the faculty during the college hours and even after college hours you can contact them with giving them some private time also. The faculty student ratio is also good as there is professor for almost 30 students
