Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Here in the medical field, the teaching and the efforts of faculty are less and they expect more from the students. Most of them don't prepare us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. Just they blackmail us with internal marks, eligibility in the subject to write the final exams We suggest they must be a friendly approach towards the students, they should conduct some quizzes or some group wise activities where and how we can learn. Bedside examination should be done properly, Cause what they expect us to do is read the whole book but they forget to teach us Exams should be conducted to know how much we know about it but not to stress us about eligibility

Internships Opportunities

3

After the final year, we get into an internship where we need to do so many things, many tell us we get paid but we need to learn this is what matters after our graduation. We don't know of any roles that are offering scholarship They give many tasks, many things to do. Many things to remember. Many things to perform and they are posted as shift-wise morning shift, and night shifts. Which will be too hectic but need to do things

Fees and Financial Aid

Here fee structure is different for state quota and we came in reservation so we got less tuition fee and it is a benefit. As we cant pay high amounts of fee for college, books and all The complete cost of our education is around 2lakh The tuition fee, the mess fee, books, exam fee and etc There are some scholarships for students... But when we were in our first yr nobody informed about the scholarship so we didn't get any scholarship We applied for our state scholarship but our state is not at all bothered to give us a scholarship Many are trying to gwt some job roles but none of them are finding good ones.... No stipends awarded till now

Campus Life

2.5

Overall life here is so boring no festivals, no fests, no special days, in many colleges we see all these things but here... They don't let us celebrate anything, simply they tell no fund for the only thing celebrated is Vinayak chavithi. On this also not everyone will participate because of their religion... So not so much enjoyment There are many books in the library but we never went, to take books, journals will be there There will be a projector in the class but some loose connections, sometimes the AC won't work in summer but in winter they'll be on the AC For many sports and games in other colleges, we don't even have a ground No extracurricular activities are offered in college by the college administration Student clubs are present but just for the namesake The only active club is the music and singing club, cause whenever there is one meeting they need students to restart it with some beautiful songs The student clubs should be active, student life should include

Hostel Facilities

3

Our hostel rooms are good, but staying 3 people per room is not good, the furniture is so good and they are of best company Wipro but staying 3 per room and getting disputes between friends for fan and lights. We eat in a student mess where there is no cleanliness, no hygiene, no tasty food, just it is in our clg we eat, and budget-friendly So no tasty food available, for registration, we need to pay 5000as caution deposit, that will be given after 5 yrs it seems we need to see that, so we need an improvement in cooking but we never get it We have never been to rented rooms because of the expenses we need to face

Admission

After the NEET exam... In the first round I got allotted in KOLKATA later I opted for 2nd round as the place was so far away from my hometown so The eligibility criteria are... We should score the marks, based on the cut-off percentage we get allotted in various colleges After coming to the college we need to get one bond paper signed with one lawyer and have to submit all the certificates, then they give us the application form we need to fill in some details and all and the fee process is difficult for us, because the we need to pay in DD demand drafts it was bit risky for us on first admission I came here by ESIC IP QUOTA where my father's income is below 20000 so I had an opportunity to use that here because of my reservation, IP quota we had less amount of college fees compared to state quota people, The exams are conducted at a good intervals but teaching is not good During the admission process, some of the student volunteers should be there to help students as students can go and interact

Faculty

3

In our college, there are many members in one department... But who teach effectively are less Whatever the number of the faculty. We need best explanation from them some faculty teach very well that we don't get sleep in their class and some of the faculty they just come and read the ppt and they will ask questions in between as if they taught us very well

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
