Course Curriculum Overview

4

In my department, the course is quite relevant and comprehensive but the poor teaching style of the teachers makes most students lose interest in the courses. if someone just refers to the syllabus on their own and regularly studies the recommended material mentioned in the syllabus, should develop a very good understanding of the courses. All the study material required is available in library.

Fees and Financial Aid

The unniverty does have lots of scolarships both government and NGOs. Girlchild scolarship- female students having family income less than 4 lakhs annual get tution fee wavier. SC/ST scolarship- under 4 lakh annual income family gets 100% fee waiver Disablity scholarship- 100% fee waiver and 5000rupee annual grant. NGO - tution fee waiver to student with less than 3 lakh annual income of family but has condition that student have to do 10 hour of community service weekly i.e there are many options of community service but i am aware that some students teach to underprivialged kids in chotu ram park.

Campus Life

3.5

For one to enjoy campus life in this college it is very important to be part of as many clubs as possible at least in the first year, later on u may leave some clubs based on your intrest. In my opinion one cannot make friends outside of his/her class if they are not part of any club.

Admission

Admission process was very comforatable for me . i had to physically reach the campus with all documents, the 12 marksheet and JEE rank card score sheet was compulary to sit in councilling , but the board was flexble with all other documents , some students gave documents many weeks after classes started.

Faculty

4

The faculty are generally very well qualified with almost all holding phDs and many research projects under their belts. Many hold important positions in national level communities for their respective research domains and may be helpful if someone is interested in further studies or research. But most are not interested in teaching in class and will either read through ppts in class or cancel most of the lectures, so anyone coming to this college must be ready to study almost the entire course on their own, althouth a couple of days of hard studying should be enough to score good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
