Likes
- The campus here is more spacious and filled with greenary and it has many buildings and we have more place to roam around and the campus is really big.
- Classes are spacious and we have a well systemized time table which is really helpful for the students.
- Placements is really really very good they provide many opportunities and many small as well as big companies come here for campus recruitment.
Dislikes
- Teachers here are not that good only some teachers are up to the mark while most of the teachers just read the slides.
- The management overall should improve a lot because many unsystematic decisions are taken and they do a trial and error method in most of the things.
- The college is not that strict and we can bunk classes when ever we want.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course which I joined is bcom ACCA and ACCA has a separate coaching and we have to pay the fees and attend classes from different coaching class and not in the college. The bcom subject are simple and basic not that difficult and some of the ACCA subjects are included in the bcom syllabus as a subject and only 50-60% is covered in bcom while remaining we have to learn from the coaching classes. 6 paper exemption is given for ACCA.
Internships Opportunities
The placement group informs us about the internship if we are interested in some we can opt or else we have to do it on our own. While studying we had to do a csr activity and provide the certificate as a subject that was for free.
Placement Experience
The only good thing happened to me in this college is placement. They have a placement team for the whole of Dayanand Sagar institutions which includes many departments so the placement team is really good. Many big as well as small companies come for campus recruitment and they have a telegram group which keep posting on new jobs every now and then.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is increased in the last two years like when I joined it was around 50-60 thousand per semester and now it's around 70-90 thousand per semester. The fees mainly depends on the course which you take. No scholarship was provided as of i know. No financial assistance was given.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty good, there are many departments in this campus so if there is any event conducted in any of the department we can join them, it's more like an open event. As per my branch there was a group for cultural thats it they conduct basic one small event per semester.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is provided within the campus and it's pretty expensive the food is not that good in the hostel. Outside the Kumarswamy layout area is really good rent and all is pretty expensive and we can share like 2-4 students together in a rented house and save some money.
Admission
The admission process is not that difficult at all no entrance exam was given and there is no cut off, for me they called us to the campus and they gave the counciling and asked us to pay 10 thousand to block the seat. It's easy to get in this college if you have money.
Faculty
The faculty members here are not up to the mark, only some teachers actually teach good but most of the teachers just read out the slides and explain only the basic stuff which we already know about. While on the other hand if we needed a change in faculty we can approach to the head or dean and change the teacher if the whole class is understand what the teacher is teaching.
Interview Experience
For admission there was no group discussion and no interview. There was no written test as well. The admission was pretty easy for me they just called me and gave me counciling and asked me to pay 10 thousand to blocking my seat in the university.
