Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum mainly focuses on the technical side of the subject being an engineering course. Mathematical models play a significant role in developing and extrapolating the syllabus to application level. Life sciences are also there as core subjects and electives in higher semesters. It heavily encompasses the general relevant technical aspects of modern biotechnology too.
Fees and Financial Aid
AICTCE provide tuition fee waiver for EWS. Merit based students account differently and reserved categories have extra scholarships. Our faculties have also given us opportunity to pursue many scholarships by introducing us to those. Campus placement for biotechnology students are few, nonetheless students definitely make into various companies and startups.
Campus Life
Various fun activities and groups are there involving the student's to pursue their modest time to achieve extra curricular progress. Along with this the NSS Community organise volunteer works and charity works. The college also hosts one of the most famous tech fests in Thiruvananthapuram.
Admission
Entrance taken was KEAM exam for students. And reservation is solely based on the instructions of the government. The Exam is conducted every year. Now it being conducted in computerised mode. Also Diploma students can get admission via lateral entry exams.
Faculty
Most of the life science faculties are MSc. Based teachers. Our HoD is a highly experienced chemical engineer who has his doctorate. Other professors are PhD holders or MTech. Holders from prestigious colleges of India.
