Students need to have decent ranks in jee mains for good branches like computer science..I had 80.percentile and i got computer science.. students can find all admission details in website also.they can apply through ojee porfal... exams have quite decent difficult

The decision of taking this course was a very good decision for me.. every subject from 2nd year is quite relevant to the stream .. curriculum is quite hectic but still good for studemts..they should improvise on schedule though...mid term takes place from 1.5 months of sem start and end sem 3 months

Internship opportunities are less in silicon..they provide internship like teaching..we have an internship at the end of every year..we have to pay 5000 for the internship..i personally thing this is trash

Placement Experience

Placement is quite good for decent students..from end of third year companies start placement drives... college cant provide good amount but they provide sufficient amount of placements..80.to 90.percent of students get placement every year

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year they increase 25000 per year but this year they increaed like 50000 per year..but still our fee structure is less than other colleges..scholar ship options are there for some students..like tfw where students have to pay 60 or 50k for course feee

Campus Life

Campus life is below average..we have a small campus.. actually very small.Annual festival is very boring tech festival is also small..but library is very good most of the books are available..class rooms are good..most of them are well equipped with airconditioner,wifi ,only basket ball is good in silicon

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good...but good for only ac rooms..non ac rooms are average..meal quality is decent..hostel is affordable we have 4 hostels inside campus..1 for girls and 3 for boys....foos is not hygienic some time but is rare

Faculty

Faculties for computer students are decent but electronics branch have sound amount of teachers...We dont...most of the faculties are good and intrested to teach while others are not..we can interact with teacher in consultancy time ..also most of the teachers are well qualified..while slme of the teachers are not good also not well qualified they are not interested to teach

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
