Likes

I liked the Infrastructures of the University along with the Faculties members.
The Campus is greenary and we can chill anywhere in recession.
Along with Academics, the University organize many events which help the students to develop their skills in vast factors

Dislikes

I believe the 75% attendance criteria is unnecessary
The exam should be conducted in more challenging way instead of giving common questions.
Should organised more hackathon so that students get more practical and knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview

In today's world, BTech in Computer Science Engineering is the most demanded course by the rapid use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Kaziranga University provides the most valuable opportunity the Students of BTech In CSE to pursue.

Placement Experience

The placements in Kaziranga University of BTech is quite good. The Average Package offered for BTech is 4-5 Lpa and the Highest Package offered is 12 Lpa. Almost 70-80% students are placed. Students can apply for campus placement from 7th Semester itself.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees Structure of BTech is Rs.55,000 per Semester. Kaziranga University also provides Scholarship upto 100% merit based. Students securing more than 80% in previous exam received 30% scholarship. Students securing more than 90% received 50% scholarship and Students securing more than 95% received 100% scholarship.

Campus Life

The Campus Life of Kaziranga University is mesmerizing. KU hosts the biggest festival in the North-East i.e. Talent Tantra. KU also has various Clubs consisting of Sports, Arts, Cultural, Entrepreneurship etc. KU has has active organisation of AIR NCC and NSS.

Admission

To apply for the BTech course you have to apply online in the Kaziranga University website. There you have to fill the details of your personal information. Based on your previous exam i.e. 10+2 you will be selected. After the process is complete you will get a call from the Admin office of the KU

Faculty

The Faculties members of Kaziranga University are mostly alumni from IIT and IIM. They are either PHD. Graduates or Mtech Graduates from various prestigious Institutions. The teaching methods are Extraordinary and they are very friendly.

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Placement Experience:

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

I chose kaziranga University over other colleges mainly because of the fees. The fees is quite less compared to other universities and the facilities are also quite good.
