Exploring KIIT

Basically, my decision to choose CSE was because of its alignment with industry standards and the inclusion of modern technology advancements. It prepares students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. The areas of improvement can be made by incorporating more hands-on projects in the course and that too from the 5th sem only. Exams are held twice a year and that is the End semester exam and also 2 mid-semester exams happens and the difficulty level of the question paper is moderate as students prepare well for the challenges.

The very first company which come for the internships in kiit is Highradius and it comes every year and role offered here is Software developer and Consulting role. The stipend of Highradius is 17000 per month. Also other company comes that is TCS and PwC and role they also offers the same that is Software Development. Project is development of a web application for internal process application and its outcome is that it enhances internal effeciency by 30% throughout the automation.

Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester mainly. Companies visited was TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte and many more. No. of offers was also much more several companies took more than 100 students. Highest package was 20 -30 lakh and it was offered by BNY mellon. Average package was ranges from 4-7 lakhs and and profiles offered was Software Developer, Data analyst, System Engineer and it depend upon company to company. Approx 75% of students placed in my batch. After getting degree, I plan to pursue a career in Software developmen, and use my skills and knowledge gained at KIIT

KIIT tution fee during my time was 3.5 lakh per year and 2000 per year as registration and exam fee. It may anually increase after every 4 year. Also you can get scholarship by giving KIITEE exam and can get 5-10% off on your semester fee. Campus employment opportunities include role of teaching assistant that is basically called peer learning here in kiit and you can get around 5000-10,000 per month. These roles and responsibilities such as assisting in labs, conducting research and doing any administrative tasks.

Annual festival held every year named as KIIT FEST and it happens in February. And technical festival named as KIIT TECH FEST happen in september. There is extensive range of books and journals in the library and accessible for all the students. Also there is modern classroom equipped with smart eboards and projectors and Wi-Fi. Facilities for sports like cricket and badminton, tennis, basketball, and football and also there are so good gyms. Extracurricular activities are also offered like music, dance, and painting societies is there Also, there are various clubs like the Robotics club and Literary Club and it enhance students' personal and professional growth.

Rooms are well furnished with beds, study tables, chairs, wardrobes, and also attached washrooms in case of premium. Food quality is also good and it has both veg and non-veg options for students. There is a menu meeting that happens and then it gets decided. The hostel registration also happens during the admission phase only and it ranges from 55000 to 1 lakh per year If you are going for a PG then nearby localities include Patia and Chandrashekarpur which is close to the KIIT campus.

Eligibility of course is you must have min percentage of 60% in 10+2 exams and a valid score of 50% in KIITEE entrance exam. Application form is available on kiit website and there is no fees for this exam. The form opens from November to March every year. If you get between 1-1000 rank in this exam then you will get 10000 per month as a scholarship. During the Admission process, there is limited offline support and applicants can face some technical issues. The area of improvement should be clear communication about post-exam procedures and timelines.

Basically a relatively low faculty to student ratio and it ensures personalized attention, enhancing the learning experience and allowing for more interactive and engaging sessions and it is good in KIIT. Faculty at KIIT boasts impressive qualifications mostly Masters and PhD scholars are there and their teaching ability is top class. The frequency of interaction is frequent in my case related to any doubts or project discussion. Faculty members are highly approachable and also encourage students to ask their doubts.
