College management is not very great any event or activities performed have to be organised by the students . Sometimes Important information is not reached to the students due to lack of communication between administration and students.

IIT JEE MAINS I scored 112 marks out of 360 beacause this college ranks among the top govt. colleges in haryana

Summer training is provided by the college at the time of summer vacations( JUNE, JULY ) Internship is not provided by the college , students has to apply off campus for internships

Most of the students get placements .There is a Training and Placement Cell in the college which helps to organise placements and call companies to hire students . Companies that come for placements are TCS , Wipro ,Infosys etc. Average package is around 2-5 lacks p.a

Pratispardha is the annual sports event of the college in which different competitions are held including badminton , basketball , football , volleyball etc . Excelsior is the main technical , cultural and management event of UIET Kurukshetra of 2 days which includes different events occuring , students competiting with each other Examples : CS GO event , Treasure Hunts , Technical events of each branch seperately.

The fee structure is feasible 32 k approx for every odd semester and 30 k approx for every even semester. Hostel fees include 11k total expenditure as room rent for 1 year i.e. two semesters and separate mess bill every month approx 3000 to be paid by 15 of the next month

College provide fee waivers to many under previliged students under the scheme of Post matric scholarship by the government in which students whose annual family income is less than 3k approx are provide with very high fee waivers . Kashmiri migrants study with free tution fees

Campus life is very good as college is directly located in the green lush premises of Kurukshetra University , Kurukshetra. Gender boys to girls ratio is 50:30 in each class approximately with leet entry included Workshops amd different competitions are occurring most of the times in college. Anti ragging committee is formed in the college with no tolerance on any type of discrimination.

Hostel facilities are decent . Rooms are spacious with enough space for all students living. Hostel accommodations are different in different hostels . In 1st and 2nd year students will have to live with 3 or 4 roommates but in 3rd and 4th year students have choice of living single in a room or in case of doormat ory with a single roommate Hostel mess food is little below average . Sanitation facilities are not good

Alumni is very helpful for any doubts , queries related to course pattern , examinations , results etc. Seniors are very cooperative and ready to help with any advice , study materials required by the students for any subject or academic related problems faced by the juniors. Frankly seniors and juniors live like friends with no discrimination on the basis of seniority

Exams and Labs are very hectic . Strict teachers with most of the labs not having proper equipment and tools required for students to perform different practicals .Only chilled thing in the Labs are when students decide mass bunks from the labs . There is very less strictness in case of attendance required in the labs . Teachers are very helpful at the time of external practicals

After the selection in the online counseling of IIT JEE . online form available physically at the college. Aministration is very helpful and friendly, ready to help with any doubts related to counseling, admission process or college Updates are given regularly on the official website of uiet, kurukshetra for latest news related to counseling process , number of seats available and the admission process etc.

Most of the teachers in UIET , Kurukshetra are PhD , some are MTECH also but i would like to say average teaching overall . Some teachers are very boring , with old mindsets . And there are also some teachers who make study very enjoyable and are well aware about the new generation needs
