I would say that if any Gujarati has less marks the. KJSCE is the best college to opt and also for other students as the palcement of this college is very nice and the syllabus here will be very handy in the industry after the college.

Firstly I didn't knew about the college after jee mains exam,then my score was not that satisfactory to get into NITs so I was browsing for the good colleges across India ,then I decided to go for college in Delhi but then a friend of my father recommended this college saying that tough the cutoff goes high but u may get it as there is a Gujarati linguistic reservation...so I am a Gujarati so we researched about the college ,contacted some alumni and then decided to take admission in KJSCE.

Talking about the course curriculum in KJSCE ,IT is one of the curriculum a student of engineering would go through.the prime reason for this is that this College is Autonomous (affiliated to Mumbai University).So the college conducts its own exams and sets its own subjects.WE get some pretty cool subjects to study as per the industry requirements.For example I am in entc but I have studied neural networks and there is Big data analytics and cloud computing in the last semester.So curriculum wise KJSCE is very good .

YES,MY college does provides internships opportunities to the students interested.They provide in-house internships that are unpaid and also forward some external internships mails that are paid from 1000 to 10000 /pm.

The one thing on which you should rely on this college is the placement.the placements statistics are way better compared to other colleges thanks to the TPO of are college as he has way too many contacts in the Industry.I got placed in my current semester which is seventh (while writing the review) and more companies are yet to come.especiallyAround 90 companies are expected to visit the college for 2019 batch and college are very supportive regarding placements.

KJSCE is known for its festivals celebrated and also includes the technical festival.The technical fest is called ABHIYANTRIKI which attracts a lot of people from Mumbai and also shapes into a platform for internships as there are internship expo.Rgearding the cultural fest it's called SYMPHONY where you will enjoy the college life the most.Our college is visited by many bollywood people ,stanup comedians etc.U CNA search symphony as its of a very big level fest.

Yes there are scholarship provided by the college as well as by the mahadbt website through which admissions are done. Majority are available on the mahadbt of which some are EBC for students whose family income is less than 8lakhs (50 percent scholarship is given).For TFWS fees is 19000 and scholarship are arranged for needy students by principal herself or some companies like Tata etc.

ADDING about the campus life , KJSCE HAS THE BEST campus in Mumbai after IIT Bombay ,it's full lush green with best in class sports facilities where official teams come to practice seeing the quality.Gender ration may be considered 60:40(m:f).U will find students from different communities but specially Gujarati as I had mentioned minority reservation.Kjsce promotes very nicely the extracurricular activities as they are important for development of a person as per College.

Talking about the hostel and mess facilities,its limited to only the outstation students who Came to Mumbai for studies.Regarding the quality of the hostel you may not find it as a typical Hostel as the cleanliness maintained in the premises is exceptional and regarding mess the menu is designed by the student committee for mess in hostel.Its very good .fees for hostel and mess combined is 90,000? per year.hostel Is sharing room .4 people in a room

The seniors of this college are very help full and also u may not find any kind of ragging and all as the college is very strict about that. THE ALIUMNI NETWORK communicate with the current students through mail as they are still listed in the Somaiya mail as the alumni and they conduct seminars and also offer jobs and internships.

The exam structure followed in KJSCE is first there are two unit test in one semester and then there will be the end semester exams.After the end semester exams there will be the practicals and the final orals.Apart from this there is regular assessment of student in form of tutorials which are conducted every week for some subjects.

I took admission in this college through minority reservation.there is 50 percentage reservation for the Gujarati linguistic minority people as the college is also of a Gujarati trust. So I had to go to the college with necessary documents and the certificate of any Gujarati samaj and apply there. Then after few days there is councelling session where we chose the branch as per the merit rank in the minority list....all admission is through merit....Here there is no management qouata or so.

Regarding the faculty in the college ,there is not a single college in India where all the faculty are best.IN every college there would be some great teachers but some would be very hard to cope up with.Same is the scene in my college.You will find pretty good professors in this college.And in engineering u should rely on yourself rather than teachers .
