I like the lectures that are conducted in the college
The infrastructure is very good and free
The environment in the campus is very nice

The washrooms are not hygienic and they are never ckeaned
More event could be conducted but they don't

I have always wanted to help people and this courses was the right choice for me as I could help the people in need and help them the curriculum in college is well structured and followed well . More hospital interactions will help us gain more

Internships Opportunities

Our college offers intership opportunities after 4yh year and they pay you around eight thousand per month for working the schedule is pretty hectic but you gain a lot of experience and that's what matters more in the end

Fees and Financial Aid

My fees for the first three years is sixteen lakhs and thirty thousand rupees and for the fourth year is twenty four lakhs and sixty thousand rupees. The fees increases and decreases based on your rank and neet score govt seat will be for one lakhs foorty four thousand

Campus Life

Campus Life was pretty decent we don't have too many event and functions but during those few events we have a lot of fun and and we sports week very year and we get to play against our seniors andbits totally funa nd enjoyable and we forget about our responsibilities during that short period

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is not the great its not that hygienic and they don't keep it very clean and it's what you usually expect of hostel Life and food quality is allright somedays the food quality is very bad i personally have an issue with the amount of oil they use in the food

Admission

I got my addmission through kea and i participated in the three rounds sof counselling and i goy my seat during the mop up round in the muslim minority category.there was a lot of delay during admission work andbot was very draining

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

The curriculum is great. It is followed as per RGUHS ( Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) guidelines. There are currently RS4, RS5 and RS6 curriculums. Each curriculum is different in it's own way. The pattern of subjects, exams and NEXT exam has changed as per each year and curriculum.

We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.

I applied Kanachur institute of medical sciences, Mangalore, in which I didn't got seat and ialso applied for Al-ameen medical College Vijayapur. There also i didn't got seat because of my marks and cutoff Since my marks in neet exam was less and also cutoff was high, so I didn't got seat First NEET exam should be cleared and u should get above 530 marks in neet exam to get the government seat and a rank of 95000 and down Cutoffs are very high in our batch Admission process is very complicated for which we should go to KEA office in banglore and recieve receipt by paying fees and come back and give to college and college will ask for every documents 3 sets Xerox and it should be in serial order, which is very complicated....Read More
