KIIT has made its name very popular in both academic excellence and placements in the previous years before i have completed my 12th in 2012. I was also attracted to this college because of knowing several others from my high school whom i respected attending here ahead of me. When i visited the college before my admission i have found the right environment and opportunities for personal growth not only academically but also to expand beyond classroom knowledge. The faculties seemed very nice and willing to help their fellow students with their vast knowledge and experience. There are also means to develop the extra curricular talents of the students be it sports, literature, arts etc. and this university does not harshly focuses on the curriculum courses as in the other conventional university which helps the students to gain practical knowledge instead of the conventional bookish knowledge which is very helpful for the students in technical fields. This all things together drawn and peaked my interest towards this highly esteemed college.

Course curriculum is on par with the latest advancement of UGC suggested pattern and provides a vast covering of field concerned. I have studied civil engineering there and course covered every aspect of it starting from the basic to advance level. The course covered surveying, fluid mechanics, structure analysis, RCC, mechanics to its fullest detail. The curriculum also has the coverage on latest development in the civil engineering fields to make students aware of the latest happening in the engineering field.

Yes. KIIT has tie ups with many company to provide the challenging environment of working in well established companies like infosys, accenture, mundra construction etc. This university believes that practical knowledge is as important as the conventional curriculum and hence provide the utmost opportunities to students to learn the practical side of the pursuing course. I have been assigned to a construction firm for 2 month which help me a lot through my learning but the stipend was on the lower side about 3k per month. the environment was great and everybody was helpful at that place.

Placements are extraordinary and every students would surely have at-least one job in their hand.As the current trend goes,IT and CSE are leading the placement and job opportunities here also but core jobs have also been provided by their placement and training department. In my point of view core placement here is almost better than every other private institute in India. Some company that visit KIIT are Tata construction, Accenture, Infosys, Samsung, Dell, Mundra, Tata Steel ETC.

There are plenty of events celebrated in the college and it is impossible to list all of them all but few of them are:- KIIT Fest- for every branch, various celebrity is invited, many competition are organised technical fest- for technical students Garba Night- at navratri And many other events are celebrated.

The fee structure of this college is quite expensive as the fees is 1,50,000 per semester including hostel and mess charges along with the institutional fess but it is worth spending as they provide many facilities which are far superior than other institute like separate library in each hostel , free gym , free swimming pool.

No , I haven't took a loan but the institute has tie up with several banks like United Bank Of India , Allahabad Bank etc to provide hustle free loan at minimum possible interest.

This university has a quite healthy gender ratio as compared to other colleges but as of the trend of technical degree male and female are not even. There is vast diversity of students here as the students come here are from various states along with the localities. As far as the extra co-curriculum activities is concerned, this university has a healthy environment for that as there is a frequent events that provide stage to showcase different talents of the students apart from studying.

Hostel and Mess facilities of this college is relatively good as compared to other colleges. The infrastructure is really good and every hostel has well furnished beds and studying tables are provided to each student individually . Each hostel has a separate reading hall and a library and also there is a gym . Coming to the mess facility they provide well cooked food with diverse menu all the way from north to south or from east to west. Overall it fells like you are in five star hotel.

A great and talented network of alumnus is all what i have to say. They keep a very enriched network of senior students and one can find the alumni of KIIT in almost every filed. There are also alumni meet to facilitate a smooth connection between the senior students which is very helpful.

Exam is divided into mid semester and end semester like every other institution. The mid semester carry 25 marks ans end semester carry 60 marks and the rest marks is for assignments and quiz which happens regularly during the ongoing classes. You have to maintain 75% attendance to ensure sitting in the exams.

There is an easy and through system to take admission in this highly esteemed college. First of all we all have to register for the entrance exam "KIITEE" which normally held in April every year and then based on our marks we are called upon for the counselling. The entrance exam is online based examination which has three parts chemistry,maths and physics and are of 300 marks in total. There is no sectional cut off. Answering each question correctly gives you +1 and incorrectly gives you -0.25. After you have been called for counselling you will be able to choose branch of your choice based on the remaining seats according to your respective ranks. There are officials to guide you at every step and you need not worry about steps.

Teachers are always the most essential part of any course and that's what this university thinks and hence all the faculty here are the pass outs of the highly reputed university of the country and has immense experience in teaching field. Few professors are as experienced as having 25+ years of teaching exposure. But this doesn't mean that the university doesn't have the right mixture of youth in the faculty department and have very talented youths to maintain the balance. Overall the faculty department is good mixture of talent, experience and exposure.
