Overall,one can say that it is a decent college to pursue B.tech if you are a disciplined nature. The faculties, staff and management will try to help you in the best possible way they can and are very supportive. The four years which you will spend here will always be memorable.

KIET group of Institutions is one of the best private college of Uttar Pradesh which made me choose it. I got admission here through entrance examination of Dr.A.P.J Technical University,Lucknow. However the college also take direct admissions on the basis of board percentage. I got 4521 rank in UPSEEE. I have interest in computer science so I only applied for the CS branch in the counselling. CSE branch of KIET is better relative to the other private colleges.

College follow the curriculum defined by the AKTU. The curriculum in the first year is broad and gives you idea about the different branches in case if you don't have interest in your branch so that you can change in second year if you are one of merit student. The course content is more subjective and it will not help you get practical knowledge.

College help the students to get the internships offers from the various companies such as TCS,Aricent etc. College has a Technology Business Incubator center where many startups are running,they also offer various internships to the students. Some of them have stipends also.

The college provides more than 80% of placements for computer science branch in the current scenario. Various companies like Newgen Tech,Wipro,Oppo, Kronos, Ion Trading, Capgemini,NTT Data, Hero Motocorp, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Fiserv etc., visit the campus for recrutments. In the year 2018, the highest package offered to the students is 13.29 LPA. The average CTC is 4.04lpa.

College organizes may technical, cultural, management festivals during the academic year. In the odd semester, technical fest Innotech is organized. In 2017, Innotech is organized on the inter-college level where students from different colleges presented their projects and took parts in other events such as coding, junkyard, quiz, poster presentation etc. In even semester annual cultural fest is organized. On intra-college Epoque took place and Inter-College level Prastuti is organised. they consist various events such as Solo Dance,group dance,Skit,Nukkad Natak, Solo singing,Group singing etc. Endeavour our management fest is also organised. Also Rann annual Inter college sports fest took place.

The fee structure is feasible as all the private colleges are having similar fees and if you want to pursue B.tech from a private college than you need to pay nearly 5- 6 lakhs rupees for your course fees. Fee structure changes every year so one get the latest from the college website. The college also provides the book bank facility for which one need to pay one time in the first year and get the books from the college for the subjects they studied.

Various scholarships are offered by the college. The students who score more than 75% gets Rs.500+ Rs.200/Percentage above 75. Also, the branch topper gets Rs.12,000 and second rank holder gets Rs.6000 every year. The college also helps the students to get an advantage of the govt. scholarships schemes for those who are eligible. College doesn't offer any loan facility to the students. They need to manage on their own.

Students will enjoy living in the campus.There are various clubs which encourage the students in different dimensions. Dinobots is a Robotics club,SAE-KIET helps the students to explore their interest in automobiles, Creative cell for arts, KMC(KIET Music Cell) for the music, Various Dance groups such as Vision,Kommotion,Pheonix,Steppers for Dance. Various workshops are organised to enhance the knowledge of the students in different fields.

Hostel facilities of the college is also good. College owns 5 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. The rooms are single,double and triple seater. In the room one will get a bed,table,chair and a Almirah. The quality of mess food is average. They are run by the private contractors however if students have some complaints about the food it is taken sincerely and the issues are resolved. If one is not interested to take college hostel then they can easily find PG nearby the college at less amount nearly 3k-4k/month.

College have a very strong Alumni network. Every year it also conducts alumni meet where alumnus visits to share their experiences and guide the students. CSE department has C-Club which also connects with many passouts students. Almaconnect also has the network to connect with alumnus. They are always helpful and guide us where ever we need them.

In a semester, 4 exams of every subjects are scheduled .One is the external end-semester examination organised by the university and rest three are internal assessment class tests. One should give all the test to improve the percentage as the marks of the class test sum up to the internal marks given by the college.Two best out of three test+ teacher assessment+attendance marks equals to the internal mark of a particular subject.

Admission depends on the way one choose.One can get the allotment from the counselling of AKTU and can get admission .The couselling process is simple.You need to undergo document verification after which you need to lock your choices and get the allotment in any of the choices. However the college also take direct admissions on the basis of board percentage. You need to apply on the website and will get the call if you are eligible for the same.A written test or interview may be conducted for direct admission.

Here, one will get the faculty member that are experienced and they help the students in the best way possible. They are available regularly from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in their cabins from Monday to Saturday. They don't only teach the bookish knowledge but also provides us the practical implications of the topics. They use various teaching aids such as projector etc., to make the students learn with very less efforts.
