Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The session covers a long way of testing the accessibility and effectiveness of a student. The implications on real life of each course plays a significant role in understanding the implications of the topic which are studied in a broad manner and their daily use in day to day life.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are many intership opportunities for the courses which are available in our university. I belong from BALLB department of Assam University Silchar. Our department gives opportunities to explore district court, High court and along with interaction with judges of supreme court. Similarly other departments also have there own opportunities for intership.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a affordability in the course which are provided in our UNIVERSITY. A middle class family can easily teach their children in Assam University Silchar. If anyone wants to reside on rent or paying guest, then the cost will be more for the expenditure.

Campus Life

4

When I took admission in this university there was a different student union which was not responsible and not supportive. They didn't do any betterment of the university, but the recent election helped to make a new union body which is benefiting our university with the resources which are need to a student. Sports quota and co curricular activities are often conducted by the NSS cell.

Admission

My admission was based on my CUET scorecard. The cut off fluctuates year by year. It doesn't have a definite cutoff of any of the department in our university. If you belong to SC category you will be benefited with reservation on your cutoff percentage. If anyone wants to take admission here should undergo with specific entrance exam which needs to be cleared before admission.

Faculty

4

The faculty members are really helpful by nature and help us with outmost love and care. We can interact with the members when they are not busy and they will surely guide us effectively. Research scholars also help us to get know about how they managed to maintain their time and what steps they followed.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, I don't know much about the placement mechanism at my University. Most of the students mainly go for LLM, either in India or abroad. Other than this, some go fo judiciary examination. In terms of campus placement, every year, on average, 15 students get placed out of the strength of around 60 students. Students, on the other hand, secure placement on their end too. My plans after getting the degree are to first practice in court, and then attempt the judiciary examination.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very good where the studentsget to experience the real life legal situation. The college has many seminars where many renowned speaks and other legal professionals come to give lecture on various topics of law which helps the students to learn more about the different fields of law. There are also legal aid camps where the students get to know the legal situation in underdeveloped regions and provide free legal services. The college also organises court visits, moot court competitions, legal debates etc which helps the students to enhance their rwuired skills in this course. However there can be some improvements in the moot courts competition by encouraging the students and giving them flexibility to participate in the competition without being bias. The exams are conducted timely in the mid of the month and the difficulty level is prominent for any law student in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My choosing of this course stands on the basis to bring forth change in the society even if by a little margin. Theory alone could never prepare you for real life endeavours, therefore practical knowledge is very necessary and this college's curriculum encourages practical application well. The college premises could be improved a little and teaching methods could be improved to be more engaging and enjoyable for the students. There should be a balance between giving notes and lectures on topics of said subjects. There is ample time between exams if one studies by managing time better, the exams are moderate and question pattern is fairly understandable too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is what I'm interested in pursuing. I want to be educated and get knowledge to be able to help others or myself in times of difficulties that involve court representation. Faculty includes good and qualified teachers, some are better than others but overall it depends upon the student to make the best out of any situation. I will take admitted to another college but that's my opinion. All teachers have different teaching methods. Some are good at speaking skills and communication skills but some lack them. Term exams are easy if you study that's the point and passing will also be easy if you study well enough. It's not as difficult in the first few semesters but as we approach the mid-semester it gets real serious to pay attention in the class and grasp the complicated terms of the law.
