Entrance Exam Dates

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (HS) or equivalent examination (10+2) with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
• Relaxation of 5% in eligibility is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.
• Candidates must appear in CUET UG with English (101), General Aptitude Test (501), and any two domain-specific subjects.

Admission Process:

• Register and appear for CUET UG conducted by NTA.
• Apply online through the AUS Samarth Admission Portal (ausadm.samarth.edu.in) within the stipulated dates.
• Merit list is prepared based on CUET UG scores; candidates are called for document verification.
• Selected candidates must complete document verification and pay the admission fee within the specified deadline.
• If seats remain vacant after the merit list rounds, spot admissions are conducted by the department.

Most law graduates from Assam University pursue independent legal practice, judicial service exams, or government legal positions rather than campus placements.
