Entrance Preview
I entered into this college through Kerala entrance examination.Also I written JEE Main examination.I got a rank of 27000 in Kerala entrance examination.The admission processes are very simple. The tuition fees are paid using bank,So there was no loss of time for paying the fees.The interview board checked and verified all certificates and they give me an awareness about ragging and it's consequences.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I selected mechanical engineering stream ,The first year was combined with two semesters and it includes 13 papers including labs and workshops.From the next year the semester wise classes are arranged as every semester contains 6 subjects and 2 labs or workshops except in the eighth semester which contains only 4 subjects and a project and also a seminar.From the sixth semester itself starts the electives as five core subjects and one elective.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides internship to the final year students. For mechanical students they provide internships in Cochin Shipyard. They provide internships for other departments also. They provide a stipend more than 4000 to the students.
Placement Experience
A good placement cell is working in our college helps the students to know about the good companies.About 10 to 20 students were placed from our college in the last year in the software fields.They were placed in Kochi and also Bangalore in different software companies.
College Events
Every year college conducts group marriages for poor people. Also conducts technical fests for every department.For the last three years we conducted technical fests for mechanical engineering department named Mechanism which helps the students and also ordinary people to get updated about vehicles and also about new technologies
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the students of mechanical engineering and also for the students of civil engineering the fee structure includes 100000 rupees every year for the seats of management quota.For the students of merit the fees amounts are 75000 for a year.The fee structure is feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
A scholarship named Merit cum Means scholarships are given to the students every year which contains an amount of 25000 rupees for a year.
Campus Life
Our college conducts extra curricular activities every year. Last year our students conducted sports named Ogmio 16 which was conducted as a tribute to Indian army. Also conducts arts festival named Mecaf every year.Also conducts social welfare activities within and outside of our college.
Hostel Facilities
Our college provides hostel facility for both boys and girls.Also provides a separate building for the first year students. For the last years the fee structure for hostels include 14000 rupees for a year and 2000 for mess which is to be paid every month. Provides delicious food in the hostel mess and also in the canteen.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni association plays a big role in conducting social welfare activities and also our college and the alumni association together joined to helps pain and palliative care as they given an ambulance to the nearby pain and palliative care.
Exam Structure
The way of conducting examinations are different from other institutions.There must be up to six examinations before the main examination or the university examination Which includes examination for every modules.All the examination are conducted according to the academic calendar prepared earlier.
Admission
Administration processes are done as they mailed a date and a time for every students which helps everyone to avoid the time loss.At first we need to fill an application form which contains our personal information and also we need to enter the scores obtained in the entrance examination and also the marks of higher secondary examination.
Faculty
Each and every faculties of our college are well qualified to teach any courses.They are well updated about all the emerging technologies.They are well qualified so that they know how to teach. They are very very helpful at any time. Also teaches in both English language and also Malayalam which the students can easily grasp what ever they teach.
