Likes
- Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good and sufficient.
- Exposure: some students come from other states which makes a culturally strong environment.
- Faculties: The teachers are really cooperative and supportive. They always ask you about your subject related problem and ready to guide you as well.
Dislikes
- Sometimes the basic facilities comprised like water cooler stop working,
- The reading room or library should be opened early so that students can utilise their time.
- Due to strikes, library closed often due to which students are not allowed to study there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The financial learning on Excel and practically implementing the methods is impactful. Proper lab classes are there for financial subjects like cost accounting, financial accounting etc. Teacher should give more practical examples while studying so that students can relate more. They should give case studies and group projects for research for the more involvement of students in the class. For 90 marks there are 5 questions of 18 marks each (can be subdivided). The question paper level is mostly moderate and sometimes a quite difficult (some questions) but overall it takes proper planning to complete all the questions on time. it happens that in the first hour of the exam students only complete their one question and they left with 4 questions to complete in 2 hrs which became quite hard.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester they are eligible. Not well known companies are there for recruitment. The Highest package is approx 450000 and average is 200000 I have some different plans because I don't want to depend on college placements, they have less options and if you crack one of the placement then you have to be great in providing VALUE!!
Fees and Financial Aid
My fees is approx 23000 in the first year and 22000 in the second year. Their is no proper facility of providing scholarship related information. Neither office staffs nor teachers , they don't give any updated information related to scholarship and financial aid which is the biggest disadvantage for student like us. Not having any official WhatsApp group or any information source. Office staff don't give any accurate information and I suggest that they should be polite and have patience while dealing with the students.There are mostly NGO based internship opportunities which is unpaid and others are for placement. I suggest if a student is from Delhi itself and he/she should join these internship.
Campus Life
Various societies are there like Film making, Drama, Innovative council, NSS, singing and many more. The infrastructure of room is not that good, the old building needs fixing of some fans, lights and tables. There should be proper working of sanitary pads machine (which don't work at all).
Admission
On CUCET portal everything is there. If your marks are 10-15 marks low then you'll get higher chances for getting in the college. It should be made simple and information systems should be setup for reducing confusing.
Faculty
Faculty members are really helpful. They always ask queries if we have any and also guide every student in the class. According to the time table, classes held properly. They are also available if students wants to ask irrespective of their subjects, they give us best advice like which course or subject we should opt for, or where we found the resources etc. I recommend that the office staffs should be calm and student friendly. Otherwise all others are the best!!
