Remarks

Your college life will be ruined. No campus life. No unity. No events. No sports facilities. You'll get into friendship after 2 years because people are too conservative. Just eat study sleep repeat. Chose this college if you have no better options left.

Entrance Preview

Because it was near my sister's house, I took admission through management quota. It had reasonable fees, but later I knew that I am the single student paying 1,13,500 for the simple reason, I am non-Maharashtrian. Every student is paying below 50k even some of them are paying 10k(I am not talking about sc St, they are paying nothing. Even they are getting money from college). And at last it is affiliated from Pune University which is a very respected name.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is pretty cool, but it all depends on the teachers. The curriculum is not too hard and self study can be done IF the college give you time to study. They're all behind assignment and homework and things like that. You've to struggle for your personal time.

Internships Opportunities

No the college doesn't provide internship, but it provides coaching by third party for the campus palcements free of cost.

Placement Experience

1

Campus placements are getting better year by year. In 2018 it was 40-60% let's see in 2019. But there are certain things to note. 1) you must have good relationship with the people in campus placement cell. If you have bad relations they you'll lack a lot of opportunities. 2) you must have a good record in study, because only few companies come with respectable package.

College Events

0.5

There is not a single event in which whole engineering wing gathers. There is no management, a single teacher and some sidekicks conduct the event. You can participate easily. No respect for talent. Marathi-non Marathi discrimination. In a croud they'll forget there is a person or group of students who cannot understand Marathi.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive for Non Maharashtrian i.e., 1,13,500. Feasible for Maharashtrian i.e., 38000-62500 Cheap for reserved categories i.e., 11000-25000. And golden opportunity for SC-ST i.e., they'll get about 20000-40000 for studying in that college. It depends on your condition.

Fees and Financial Aid

I know scholarship facility because everyone is paying the 1/4th of my fees. I cannot avail because i am non Maharashtrian and of general category. People can get a good amount of scholarship.

Campus Life

0.5

Campus life is ruined. There is no time for interaction. I got depressed in my first days. Gender ratio is not so bad actually but majority of the students belong to the villages around Pune. So if you're from a big city, you're going to suffer. There are students who cannot speak hindi and their uniform consists of formal shirt formal pant and hawai chappal.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel facility for boys is not available. Hostel facility for girls is available, people say it is pretty good. For a boy, you must get a private hostel/flat, Which will cost you around 2000 per month or less. The mess food is just average. Menu is vast. It costs 2400-2600 for two time of food for a month.

Alumni/Alumna

See, there is one thing, if you go to a senior for a one to one conversation they are very helpful. I don't know anything about alumni.

Exam Structure

In first year, there are 3 exams summing up of 100 marks. Phase 1 : 25 marks MCQ Phase 2 : 25 marks MCQ Phase 3 : 50 marks written You have to get 40 marks total and 20 marks is compulsory in written. There are 60 marks of assignments which will decide you aggregate percentage.

Admission

The admission process was too long, but it was not the fault of the college, that was the process of University. First, you have to give either MHT-CET or JEE MAINS. Then you start the process of choice filling. Then there will be 3 CAP rounds and in every cap round you will get to know either you are getting your choose college or not. If in 3 rounds you got your college then you're lucky, otherwise, you have to contact the college for admission (you must contact the college which you chosed in choice filling). Then the college will demand money as much they want and then you'll bargain like you're getting something from the chor bazar. And done! You got a admission in engineering.

Faculty

1

They speak in Marathi first of all. If you request them to speak in hindi then they'll conduct 30% of the lecture in hindi. Some teachers are nice by nature so they'll assist you but majority are Marathi speaking. They are less knowledgeable. They do not have knowledge, they just explain the things written on the paper well.
