The college management overall is great as it has old staff and the discipline makes sure that there are no issues in general parking lot to manage such a huge crowd.
Entrance Preview
It was well know in Pune University and had great placement cell as compared to other colleges.The faculty is also good.It is now updated with facilities nearby and is highly disciplined.The extra curricular activities help students to grow in various aspects.The college organized various interdepartment activities as well to help you grow in your area of expertise.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is decided by the Pune University which can be assessed from website.It changes after 4 years.The exams are conducted by University twice a year.College internally conducts exam twice before you attend the actual University exam.The course can be selected and reference books are available in the site to choose according to the subjects.
Internships Opportunities
No they don't provide internship.They've tieups with organization like DRDO and have labs where students can perform.
Placement Experience
The placement cell is great and arrangements for aptitude test , resume preparation,mock interview are conducted often to give a feel of placement.Great companies come every year for placements including mass recruiters which ensures 70 percentage of placement
College Events
Interdepartment activities like cybercell for information technology are conducted every year.College level events are perception where other colleges are invited to participate.Various plays at state level competition are also organized.NSS event is also organized where the students gonin nearby villages to help the students there to learn and stay with them for a week.Ehsaas is also the NGO organized by the college alumni where kids from the slum areas are called to the college and event is organized for them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's expensive as compared to other colleges due to the facilities provided and guaranteed placements being the reason.Highly qualified staff might also be the reason for the fees.The staff for management and security is also big enough to deal with the crowd.The maintenance takes place monthly to ensure that the cleanliness is in place in the surrounding areas.
Fees and Financial Aid
The toppers of every department are awarded a prize money.Loan facilities I'm not aware of any.Currently I'm not sure if they have added any scholarships as such as its a private organization .
Campus Life
The college gives you many opportunities to participate in various activities within the college and also at state level including sports,plays and drama.A student can choose as per there liking.The ratio of girls in engineering is less from ages as there are very few females who wish to pursue engineering.The college has students from all parts of India so yes it's like you meet people from different parts of India as well as the world like UAE.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is no longer available now as the pg facility is available in the nearby area.Mess is available also there are vendors providing tiffin facilities during lunch break which gives you a home food feel.The restaurants are also available nearby along with cafes to chill out with friends.Atm facilities are now available in the campus.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year there is event organized for the alumni association to discuss the ideas and suggestions for placements.
Exam Structure
The exams are internally conducted before the actual University exam along with mock practicals.The time table is decided by the university and shared with the college.The preparation leaves are given by the college before the actual University exams which helps students to prepare on there own and reach teachers in case of queries
Admission
The college comes under Pune University and I was part of Maharashtra so had to give the entrance exam named MHT CET which had subjects like physics, chemistry,maths and biology.As I wanted to pursue engineering I didn't opt for biology and gave the entrance exam for PCM.The exam has multiple choice questions and no negative marks which is usually after the board exams for 12th.The results are out in a month after which you have to fill a form where you select the options of college, depending on the cutoff we get addmissions.
Faculty
The faculty of college is old and have their expertise in the subjects they teach. It feels like extended family to be a part of VIIT alumni.The discipline is maintained by the college facilities always for attendance and exams conducted before the university exam.The mock practicals are conducted for assisting the students before the exams.
