The college will change the way you think about youself.It will hep you grow as an individual in every aspect of life.Friends ,teachers and their warmth wont let you miss home.Also various events and fests will make your life happening.There is a fabulous balance between studies and co curriculars.The management is very helpful in every way.A student will cherish these 4 years for the rest of their life.

This college has considerable placements ,not only in computer science and IT,but also in core streams. When we joined each student atleast had 1 job in their hands.Most people had 3 to 4 offers from companies like accenture,wipro,tcs,infosys. Also the faculty was mostly from IIT and NITs .There were most of the teachers who were PhDs in their respective fields.

The course curriculum is well at par with the AICTE curriculum specified for B.Tech. The curriculum is basically a balance between theory as well as practical. Most of the books specified are of internationally acclaimed writers.The couse is well divided into 8 semesters and pressure is well balanced keeping in mind the interests of the student.

Yes many people have secured internships and pre placement offers (after an internship period they will be a part of the company).Companies like Deloitte,High Radius,iNautix provide internships ranging from 15000 to 22000.The conditions at work are also great.

Placements for computer science and IT is excellent with 95 percent students getting placed in MNCs.For the core branches its a little low but almost 80 percent students have been placed in core as well as mass recruiters like accenture,wipro,infosys. Day 0 companies like Deloitte,Shapoorji and Pallonji,MuSigma,ZS Associates,HighRadius offer packages above 6 lakh per annum.Rest mass recruiters offer 3.6 lakhs per annum on an average.

There are various fests for socio cultural events.Quizzing ,drama,dance,singing,sports all of these have separate societies which organise separate events .Apart from these KIIT FEST the annual fest of the university is a gala event ,one of its kind in eastern india.The law schools,biotech and management schools have their separate fests as well.

The fees structure is 1.5 lakh tuition fees and 30 lakh for mess and hostel.It is almost same as other premier engineering colleges.The tuition fees is slightly higher than what is provided .The fees structure is quite high and an approx 16 lakh should be considerable to complete the course.This amount is quite high compared to government colleges and is a little expensive.

There are scholarships for people who are within the first 1000 in the entrance exams.Not total but partial scholarships or stipends of 10000 each month are provided to branch toppers each semester.Also various banks like HDFC ,Axis have tie ups with the college and give good loans for education.

Campus life is totally vibrant. Cosmopolitan culture is there as there are students from all parts of India and abroad too.There are student exchange programmes and intersted people might get a chance to go abroad also.The gender ratio is male to female 4:1.There are separate robotics,aeronautical,debate,quiz,drama,dance,singing societies which organise events at regular intervals.

The boarding is 3 seater non ac for boys and girls.Separate hostels for boys abd girls are provided.They are well furnished with tables and chairs in each room.Rooms are quite spacious.2 ceiling fans in each room for non ac. Ac rooms have 2 seater as well as 3 seater boarding but are alittle bit costlier than the non ac rooms. Food is provided in the mess.It is hygienic and 4 time meal is provided.Breakfast is nutritious as well as the lunch and dinner.Snacks are provided in the evening.

Alumni network is well connected.There are regular alumni meets in various cities for alumni to stay connected as a family.Seniors are always there on social media to hep you in any field you need them for. The alumnus are well placed in esteemed companies,some abroad and you can get a whole lot of their work life anytime you please.

The exam structure is 8 semesters and 8 mid semesters.The mid semesters are of 25 marks.15 marks is internal marks awarded by the teachers on the basis of quiz,assignments.Rest 60 marks is the marks of end semester exams.There is grading system for subjects and cgpa is awarded.Also there are separate exams for labs and practical exams and theoretical exams together grade you in your exams.

I opted for their own entrance exam called KIITEE and secured a rank of 8185 all over India.I was called for first round counselling which was upto the rank of 20000.I had chosen three branches as my choices. According to my rank i could finally get electrical engineering which was my first choice.

The faculty is well qualified,mostly trained from IITS and NITs. Most of tgem are PhDs in their respective fields.They are very helpful and kind and are eager to listen to your doubts even one day before the exam.They complete tge curriculum in a way such that there is not much pressure on the students to mug and they can grasp the concepts well.
