Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is my dream to be a photographer and travel the world. Also, I wanted to become RJ. This course gives me confidence. And this field has very much scope for the future. In my opinion, i think not all government colleges provide much facility to students as their fees is less. My college takes 2 exams in a semester mid term and end-term. Mid term carries 25 marks and 1 hr and end semester carries 50 marks and 3 hr which is sufficient. Also the difficulty level is normal.

Internships Opportunities

2

As the university is private so no good companies visit our campus to hire students but the faculty provides the internships to the students as it is very necessary. I don't remember the companies.

Placement Experience

0.5

The university provides placements from 3rd yr. But internship is provided to students from 1 yr only as it is mandatory to do summer internship. No big companies visit our campus so i don't remember the names. The college provides the max of 900000 p.a. and min of 300000p.a. 10% of students get placements and others have to do MA. Or others. I want to do MBA. And UPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees approx 200000 but yr by yr the fees is increasing. For this semester I paid 99000 . (Including bus fee.) Tuition fees are 70000 caution fees is 5000 registration fee is 10000. Lab fee and others are already included in the fees . The fees of every one are same that is 70000 100% scholarship is provided by the university.

Campus Life

4

The university performs many annual and technical fests. Such a fresher which is the biggest fest of the university. The library is fully Ac and ut provides 1000s of books. There are many clubs on the campus that manage the events. The events are not so good but average.

Admission

The admission process was very formally done. As their was entrance exams one was mcqs and other one was PI (personal interview). The cutoff for the entrance exam is 50% in boards. The college provides scholarships. The process that i don't liked was the college took our original mark sheet of 10 and 12 and also the migration certificate and now they are telling to write application to get back.

Faculty

1

The faculty of my college is average. The faculty keep on changing which causes difficulties to build bonds with faculty. The average ratio of students and teacher is 29:1 . It is easy to interact with teachers as their are less students in the course. But the main problem is faculty that they don't teach properly.

Interview Experience

4.5

No their was not any group discussion but an personal interview of every student which carried 3 section first was general knowledge other one was related to my 12 studies and other one was related to the subject that i opted for my BA. The process of admission was very easy as no formalities were made. I worked a little on my general knowledge and the subject i will study about in the university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum influenced me the most and the syllabus system everything is that I am interested in . The curriculum prepares me by enhancing my knowledge in my field with proper guidance of faculty so that I can excel my skills in the real world. I think more focus should be on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge otherwise everything is best. Exams and tests were quite frequent,3 hours were given to complete each exam .Tests were taken thrice a month , sometimes twice and term exams were taken twice.

Placement Experience:

Our Institute also provide placement opportunities and students who are pursuing in sixth semester are eligible for placement. Recently, a company visited our Institute and selected many students for placement. But at that time I didn't remember the name of company and also no idea about the salary package. There are only 30 percent students were interested to getting placement. I prefer the journalism after getting my degree.
