The college takes regular feedback from us to improve things. The management is wise enough to be proactive in every field rather than being reactive.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well defined as per the rules. We have exams twice in a semester and have enough time for preparation. There are lab sessions for every subject and practical exams are also taken. The marking system is transparent and absolutely fair. We are also taught subjects from other fields such as management etc. in electives which provide for holistic development.
Placement Experience
The placement for our course is above 95% for eligible candidates. The likes of Deloitte, Yatra.com, Sapient, etc. come for placement drives. The minimum package offered is 3.0 LPA.
College Events
The college organizes the annual Techno-Cultural fest Momentum around October every year where many colleges participate in different activities. Apart from that, many other events are organized by professional societies each month which keep the students engaged.
Fee Structure And Facilities
1,19,500 was my tuition fees for the first semester. Other expenses included daily travel, eating from a canteen and participating in various events. In my view, the fee is reasonable according to the facilities provided and the university doesn't ask for any further payments of different kinds except the stipulated fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
I neither opted for any scholarship or education loan but the college does provide scholarship to meritorious students. They have set criteria for this and these students feature in Dean's List too.
Campus Life
A far as I have observed, the gender ratio in college is 50-50. There is no kind of ragging in the campus or biases towards any particular community. Regular workshops are organized by the professional societies and even college too on different topics. IEEE, OSA, Spic Macay, ASQ are to name few of the many clubs present.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a strong alumni network and seniors also helpful. Our alumni come for the Pre Placement Interviews and give tips to students about the same. Alumni Meets are also held for everyone to keep in touch.
Admission
I filled the online application form available on the website. After the merit list was announced and my name was there, we went for the admission. The whole admission process was very simplified and it just took us around 20 minutes to get it completed as we went early in the morning and there was no rush.
Faculty
The faculty at our college is excellent. All of them are either Ph.D. in their field or pursuing Ph.D. They are very supportive and a passion for teaching drives them.
