Course Curriculum Overview
The Course is much relevant I would say. The basics of every subject is a must for engineering and is provided there. But the course lacks some software training like AutoCAD ansys solidworks etc they must also be included.
Internships Opportunities
Our university follows 3 internships as a part of course curriculum namely social internship where you have to research on a social issue. 2ndly academic internship where you have to go and do research on some topics by engaging with other colleges like iits or nuts. And lastly industrial internship where you have to gain industrial training for a minimum period of 1 month
Placement Experience
The placements are fine highest package being 24 lpa and 10loa average Psu like oil nrl iocl often take part in campus placements. Along with other companies like texas instruments, tcs tata advanced system etc also visits. Aside iit gandhinagar also offers seats for mtech programme to 3 students among top 5 in each branch without Gate. I am planning for MBA
Fees and Financial Aid
Every semester fees is around 17000 plus exam registration is 3500 for 20500 for 1 year so 41000 for a year Financial aid like poor fund scholarship is available, which exempting from the admission fees
Campus Life
Pyrokinesis is the annual fest and is one of the biggest fest in northeast. Filled with colours everybody waits for the 4days. Books and journals are available moreover an extra library is also in construction. In case of sports activities the college is little bit low. Clubs are various
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are nicely accommodted wifi inverters are available, moreover to avoid ragging even juniors are provided with extra hostel. For pg also abundant pg are available in the campusm they are accomodbale
Admission
I applied for AEC and JEC , I got AEC as it was my first choice I choose it as it was one of the best colleges in India. Usually the cutoff remains high and being a general it was hard for me but I managed to get admission
Faculty
The faculty tu student ratio is average. Faculty student relationship is fine except some faculties. My favourite faculty is Niharendu sir his interactive ways of talking is very much fun. Again Anil Bora sir is also good he is a very disco man although he is little bit strict but I am inspired by him. Exams are little bit in a difficult side except for end sems , three class test are also conducted
