Course Curriculum Overview

4

I belong to a commerce background so I chose this course. This course can provide many practical knowledge if you study it correctly. You can apply it's knowledge in developing your skills like you get to know how to file your ITR by studying Income tax as one of your subjects. They teach you how to calculate financial management on excel. Teaching in a practical way is more expected but some faculties don't take it seriously. Exams are held every semester . The exam level is of easy to moderate. Everyone can pass the exams if they have the basic understanding of the concepts

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Cognizant, collzy , paytm , Zomato, Godrej like renowned company offers the internship opportunities in the college for the roles of finance, hr , marketing, business development interns with the stipend upto 40000.

Placement Experience

3.5

I'll say placement is not so very good but they at the undergraduate level it will give a push to career. From final year which means fifth semester student can sit for the placements. Around 40-50 companies come every year for the internship and placement opportunity. Many students don't sit for the placements as they are preparing for masters and government exams. Companies like cognizant, Godrej, paytm . Axis bank had come for the placement opportunity. Highest package stand at 15 lac for marketing and average package at 4 lac. 70 percent students getting placed out of the total students from the college. I am preparing for MBA exams and if they don't go well I will look for a job .

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 6810 in the first year and in second year it increased to 7960 . Yes , it is increasing yearly. They took a total of amount I stated earlier and there are no such fees like lab fees and development fees. Financial aid and scholarships also available upto 100% of the fees

Campus Life

4

The Malhar annual fest of the college held in feb- march every year. The books and journals of every course is present in the college which available as per the needs of the students. Facilities and technological provisions are not fully present like there is no smart board or any kind of projector. Sports like volleyball football and many more present in the college. There are many clubs which works for the social cause like enactus , women development cell , nss which help the society.

Admission

I have applied to GGSIPU and got the college in it for BBA . I have set my mind to took admission either in bba or bcom. I have got the admission in DU later on . So I withdrawn the admission from GGSIPU because the exposure is very good at DU . The name tag the hype DU has like no one . Financial problem is also the reason I chose government college rather than paying large amount of fees in private colleges. I got rejection from IIM Indore and rohtak by not clearing the cutoff for the interview. My preparation is not upto the mark . Delhi University takes admission on the basis of CUET score and allot the college on it's basis. The candidate should have cleared secondary education. They only accept cuet scores from the last two years and cutoff is depend on the basis of the students applying to particular college in Delhi University. When you got the college it is easy to complete admission process by paying the fees and related documents.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio 1:60 . Faculties are very open to help students and students can easily approach them. I liked one of the teacher of named Archana . She's helping students like no one can . She helped us in giving the presentation by pointing out mistakes in that and telling how can we make it better . Second faculty is also amazing her way of teaching is also very good. She teaches accounts and are very good in that.

Other Applied Colleges

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - [GGSIPU] | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]

I got admission in delhi University later on . So I chose DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
