Course Curriculum Overview
The course Curriculum structure is as stated by the AICTE and exam structure is based on MDU's schedule. We got 3 sessionals- 2 of 50 marks and 1 of 100 marks which contributed for about 30 marks out of 50 marks in our internal marks. Final exams are of 100 marks.
Placement Experience
Placements and training opportunities are quite good and especially for CSE and IT dept. there is a huge scope.
College Events
Events like DRONA-JEE, HACKATHON, E-yantra in which students are advised to showcase their talent. They have opportunities to participate in coding, robotics and various project works. Events of Microsoft, Cisco, Google are also organized. In Elantra students are engaged in robotics.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are around 151000 per year that means around 604000 with around 34k to 40k transportation fees. In odd semesters we pay around 3k and in even semesters 1k is our examination fees. Hostel Fees is around 64k to 70k per year. But if you give DRONA-JEE you can get scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't opt for any such thing. The scholarship was not at my time. Few of my friends opted for Education LOan.
Campus Life
Campus LIfe is good. We have 2 canteens and 1 Cafe Coffee Day outlet which nowadays you will find in every MDU college. Labs for each and every subject with latest and fully functioning equipment. Debates, Robotics events are held every month for students to participate.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students were quite helpful and advised how to study. No ragging incidents have been recorded in the past 20 years.
Admission
I directly applied to the college and got selected as per the availability of the seats. I filled up the form and got a call directly from the college. I asked for the computer science branch and with God's grace, I got that. Nowadays they have entrance test also.
Faculty
Well, in my opinion, the faculty of our college is quite very experienced as mostly they are either postgraduates or Ph.D. holders. And they are very experienced and very helpful and generous in our final year project work. Plus they give good career guidance.
