My 4 years experience of Guru Nanak Dev University

Management is good. Rest a lot of student bodies do exist as well to raise students. Overall there are a lot of ways to grow if one knows how to utilize them.

Course Curriculum is standard as followed in other universities and colleges. Yes. it's relevant and fair. Yet it's never a bad idea to explore more and outside the scope of exams. Eventually, it is those extra skills in your resume which makes the difference.

I can write a book on this as I was part of the Placement Team for around 3 years and know the process in and out. To keep it short, I myself was placed in three companies, Cuemath, Statusbrew, and Tata Consultancy Services and bagged package of 6 LPA.

JASHAN, an interdepartmental Cultural Fest is organized every year in a month in March. This is the best time of year to enjoy. I participated in group western dance and ended up as 1st runner up and still cherish those memories.

I don't remember the exact amount, yet it was around 1 lakh per year excluding hostel and other expenses. Since my P.G. was close to the university and my traveling was least and I am not party freak, my monthly expense was in between INR 5000 - INR 7000.

I didn't opt for any Scholarship or Education loan during my four years of graduation. Therefore this question is not applicable in my case.

Campus life was fun. We used to hang inside the campus a lot. Plenty of food corners were available. Frankly telling, I never really looked upon the matter of Gender Ratio. Thinking about it now, I feel it was pretty equal with no major disruption in ratio.

Guru Nanak Dev University maintains its own network of Alumni which keeps in contact all the alumni who have not only passed out recently but many years before as well.

I appeared for JEE Pre and based on my marks I applied for Guru Nanak Dev University. My priority order was CSE followed by ECE. Though I got a seat in ECE as my rank was short by a couple of numbers. Nevertheless, it wasn't that bad because I learned major of CSE concepts because they were of good help in placements.

Faculty is nice and knowledgeable. Yet no one will spoon feed anyone at this mature stage of career. They are mentor and students are learner so, it's us who will lift the extra weight by ourselves for a better future. Having told that, faculty is always there to help, one just needs to ask it.
