Electrical & Electronics Engineering in Jyothi Engineering College

I do like digital electronics and analog electronics in my curriculum which contributed a base of currently doing automotive embedded career. All i learned through my studies offererd real time scenarios. Teaching method has to be improve including real time examples and practical applicaltions. Exams are all done in frequent wise. I think marks distribution have to be reduced in respect to the timing of exam which seems difficult to the students to complete as per marks. Also 1 month leave after completing each semester should be a required one for decreasing the stress among students to refreshing their brain.

I got internship in SARK cables, Kanjikode through college for 3 months and they provided me a stipend of 10000 per month. A lot of companies are providing internships for cse students mainly in our college.

Seventh semester onwards you are going to get placement offers and can only join once the course completes. 15+ companies visited which includes top companies like TCS, South indian bank, Titan steel(TEAL), UST global, Cognizant, Qburst, Mitsogo, Speridian, Haritha Techserv, LGB. Highest package was South indian bank which offeres 12 LPA for probationary officer and average package was 3.5 LPA.

I joined college through NRI category.During the time of admission i had to pay fixed donation for NRI quota which is 1.5 lakhs in our college. But on the basis of my pcm score and plus two marks i only needed to pay 50000 rs.For each semester i had to pay 42500 rs as a tution fees including development fees and lab fees so the year-wise fees i paid was around 85000 rs. I didn't have any registration fees or admission fees because of my quota.They took 10000 rs as caution fee which they refunded after completion of my degree.After 2 years they increased the semester fees as 45000 for placement training and add-on courses.My friend joined in the time of 2nd year after completing diploma through merit category and she had to pay around 20000 rs year wise.In our college they provide financial aids for poor and also have scholarships like egrants,merit cum needs.I got 25000 per year through merit cum needs.Egrants students don't have to pay fee for their semester.

Overall my campus life comes with a lot of memories. Annual tech fest is usually done in march which is for 2 days and it conducts in intercollege level. Lots of tech events and career development is cojoined with non technical events also. The college having a huge library with a vast range of books and journals and is easily accessible. Classrooms with internet access, projector displayed classes, whiteboards advance a technological provision. Campus also conducts sports and extracurricular activities which provide the students an opportunity to fly above borders. NSS volunteering, IEDC club, IEEE, IEI, ISTE clubs and student portals are there for helps to active students.

I chose NRI category only in 2 colleges.One is sahrdaya enginnering college,kodkara and this college.At first i got seat in sahrdaya but the donation fee seems to be high and they don't provide any guarenteed placement opportunities. So i went for this college which is the top most college after government colleges in curriculam, faculties, infrastructure and management in my hometown. I didn't get any rejections because only 2 which i applied for. Admission process follows submitting the documents and the donation amount. I need to have pcm score above 50 percentage to choose btech in any stream and also above 50 percentage in english. Only after completing plustwo can join btech ,alse diploma is included. Admission experiense seemed to be very easy and pleasentful.

In our college the faculty-to -student ratio is 1 for 3 students.All the faculties in our department are well supportive and approachable. One of the faculty i really like is our tutor kapil sir. He had a vast amount of experience and technical skills. He guide us through all our studies and really have an immense role in our achievments. Apart from him i like Jenson sir,our HOD and Naveen sir,Aswathy miss. There is no other staff i didn't like, because all are respectful and sincere staffs. Course curriculam covers all the details we need and it is easily understantable. They conduct 2 internal exams in each semester before the university exam. It was easy to crack because it conduct right after the module is over.
