Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is redesign every four year as per the national board of accreditation. For making student ready for real life problems and make them industry ready . The treaching methods should be improved by taking the help of technology.
Placement Experience
Mostly fourth year student are eligible for campus placements ,companies like indian oil ,NTPC ,NVIDIA ,,VEDANTA,GOOGLE etc give lot of offers to the students.RS 39lakhCTC in year 2024 and average of rs 10lakh .
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise Fee 1. Year 1:2023-2024 The total fees that i have to pay for the year 2023-2024 in National institude of technology srinager is around Rs 150000 as per the semester wise it is around Rs 75000. 2. Year 2: 2024-2025 The tuition fees for the 3rd sem is around Rs76000 and same for 4th semester. Regestration fee is around Rs1000 Every year the fees remain almost same.There is small increment in fees form 3rd semester as compared to the first and second semester. FEES STRUCTURE FOR THE ST/SC CATEGORY. Those student who have st/sc category does not have to pay any tuition fees but they do have to pay internet bills of Rs 1000 every semester and then Rs 1000 for the development fees , and around Rs 4000 for lab fees.Overall they have to pay around Rs10500 every semester . FEE STRUCTURE FOR OBC/EWS/GENERAL CATEGORY Students who have obc ews category does not give benefit .Above 5lakh full fee students who have family income below Rs 1lakh does not have to pay academic fees
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing here ,lot of club are present here some of them are semicolon, soap box,etc you will get almost all book in the library.smart board are used for teaching from 2nd year .sports facilities are good.
Hostel Facilities
hostel facilities are not really good you have to share room with 5 other student in 1st and second year .Mess is good with excellent hygiene.you have to pay around rs8000 for hostel and around rs21000 for the mess facilities
Admission
NIT srinager rank around 79 in nirf ranking 2024 and is the best college for btech ,mtech in jammu and kashmir . NIT Srinager is present in the heart of the different tourist location.JEE MAINS exam is the only way you can get admission here.
Faculty
the faculty here is highly qualified almost all the faculty have done there phd degree from colleges like iit hydrabad iit delhi etc.There are 2 exams in one semester one is mid term and other is end term .
