- I don't like the weekly exams. Even though it was helpful at times it felt like it wasn't done in a proper way.
- Only some of the classes are air conditioned. It would be better if all the classes are like that.
- The canteen of the college needs a urgent renovation. It is like an eyesore to the whole infrastructure of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The future scope of this course as the number of electrical vehicles influenced me to choose this course. The lab practicals done during in the classes were helpful for real world applications, but it needs further improvements. The development of the skills of the students during the course is comparively less in the curriculum. So the courses like revit, autocad, etc should be included in the course curriculum to improve the students' skill sets. The semester exams conducted by the university twice a year are comparatively difficult.
Placement Experience
From seventh semester onwards the college will train for our placement. we have placement training classes for aptitude,c programming, python etc. The companies visited is harita techser, qburst,TCS.The average package is 450000 and also around 40% of students got placed at different companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
My year wise fees for college is forty two thousand rupees. The caution deposit for my college is ten thousands rupees. Registration fees is thousands and lab fees is five hundred. There are some scholorship available for btech students like NSP, E-grantz, etc. It has an scholorship amount of 25000.other students have similar kind of fees like 45000
Campus Life
The main event that students eagerly waiting for is tarang fest.we have technical and non-technical event will happen in our tarang . Mostly tarang wil happen during odd semester.we have well developed library facility available in our college.our classroom are very well maintained and modernized we have 3 day sports day also have an arts day.we have different association like IEEE etc
Admission
I only applied to this college as it was a very famous and prestigious college near my home. I didn't apply to any other colleges. The merit quota students are admitted through the KEAM exam. There is also admission based on the plus two marks if we get more than 90% in plus two.
Faculty
The faculties of the college especially the EEE faculties are very supportive and friendly. They are very approachable. Dr. Shijoh of EEE department was my favourite faculty as he was very motivating and helpful throughout my college years. There are no faculty that I didn't liked. Weekly module tests are there and most of the students get good marks. Course curriculum is very good and effective.
