THE TRUTH

With curriculum we can understand which are the most important topics to be learned. There are lot of specifications from each module to that which part of the module we have to focus hard. With that students can easily pass the examination. But there is a problem. The course curriculam nowadays made in such a way that the university wants to complete within 2 months rather than completing within six months. This scenario is pressurizing the students to complete their courses and failures will be increasing. This problem is highly concerning for the students who follows KTU.

All lot of companies offered internships. From Cusat, wipro, infosys.. i didnt apply any of these till now . I will be trying next year. So that i cant the give the exact review. According to the sources from my friends they have to do some programming assignments inorder to get paid

From S8, students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro, infosys, Royal Enfield, ESAF, Aramco, cognisoft etc. Estimated no of offers are 20. Percentage of students getting placements are above 75%. My plans after b.tech is to find jobs in Europe, earn enough money and take a vacation to Dubai.

I am learning from ASIET ,Kalady...got good faculties, has annual event called BRAMHA ie our cultural fest. We have got avg bathrooms in main building and has got best bathrooms in civil block and ccf lab. Talking about the course, AI is an essential course nowadays. Course actually hard when it comes to Java and Data structures. We also have variety of sports teams .

Yes there are lot of festivals conducted in my college like Onam, Christmas, Ashwamedha and Main event called Brahma. Brahma is always conducted in even semesters and the rest of them are conducted on odd semesters. Library is one of the convincing facilities in my college. Laboratories are well maintained. Each dept has got its own labs. Sports are strong in our college. Especially cricket and volleyball

I didn't try any other colleges because I didn't had any confidence because they would reject by looking at the pass percentage of my +2 and my rank in KEAM. I just got in the college after first meeting about the college. I got in by NRI quota where My dad had to pay more Fee. In NRI quota , we need to pay 200,000 as a capitation fee and 171000 as sem fee. There were other processes like management and merit quota where they check only pass percentage and keam rank.

Yes faculties are approachable and are ready to clarify doubts. Most of them are doing great job out there. The faculty I like the most are Ms.Gayathri Dilli and Ms. Amrutha M Nair. Exam are sometimes difficult or easy according to how much we learn. They purposefuly make it tough to understand us that this is how it will be in mains. Course curriculum is very relevant for the students to cover their modules and get prepared for the examination
