A Decent Review

As told by our seniors and after collecting various information about our department from various sources I came to know that our dept was equipped with all the required materials and instruments and devices that builds the best among u in civil engineering The professors gave their best to make each and every one learn all the required knowledge to be a good civil engineer We have covered all the theory knowledge required for this branch and also had a good grief over the practical knowledge of the branch Some areas are still to be improved like the regular interaction between professor and students and rather then giving importance to theory they should mainly give the practical knowledge of this branch

Students becomes eligible from 7th sem onwards for campus placement and many of our friends got placed in the ending of 6 th sem onwards Many companies have visited our campus and few of them are L&T, IOCL, NRL etc Iocl provided the highest ctc that was around 20l and followed by nrl Around 75 percent students get placed every year

1) In the duration of 4 years of my course i had paid 205000rs for a total of 8 semester . We had to pay semester wise the fees and it was around 25000/semester. In this 25000 the tuition fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees etc all was included 2) During the admission to the university the fees in the 1st semester was 30000 that included the caution money 3 ) Yes anyone belonging to the economically weak section and sc/st was supported by scholarship scheme provided by the university

We have many festivals throughout the year 1) Insignis - it's a science festival that helds in the winters 2) Techxetra - it's a tech festival that helds in the month of feb- march 3) Annual meet- it's a inter hostel competition that is followed by a cultural night program in the ending of the competition The library has got some world class facilities with all the books that one requires along with silent places to sit around and study The sports facility is upto mark im our university, everyone can play anygame they wish to

The hostel room has two beds, two windows, one door, two covereds, one common sharing books and things holder,two study table and chair and wifi facilities The hostel mess is good, they provide both roti and chawal in lunch and dinner, they provide with 2 days chicken, 2 days fish, egg and paneer for vegetarian

I had not applied for many colleges and thought of giving a drop for better preparation But luckily i got into this university and also with my desired branch so i opted to study here rather then loosing one year The admission procedure was based on all india rank in jee mains and one has to apply for the josaa counseling after clearing jee mains

The are more than 30 departments and each department has got around 10-15 professor who were highly educated and there interection with the students were good Some of my liked professor were Mr. BKN and Rituraj sir from civil engineering department No all the faculties of our department were good to each and every one of us There use to be 4 exams in a semester, that begins with a class test of 25 marks, then mid semester exam of 40 marks and followed by another class test of 25 marks and lastly end semester of 60 marks
