Faculties are good. There way of teaching and their interaction with students are very transparent
The bus services are very good. The Buses are always on time
The environment of the area is very good

The area where it is located. it is very much far from the town
Washrooms are very horrible. It is not maintained
The development here going on in the college campus is very slow

The branch electrical in our college is very good in terms of faculties and other activities. The labs are mostly well equipped with various kinds of electrical devices.The improve there can be the maintenance.

BIS offers internship opportunities to the students here with stipend of about 20000rs Also there are many projects made bythe students which helped them to get good impression near the selectors for job

Yearly Fees-Rs 14500(for all categories) Scholarship available-NSP Annual Fest(Technisia)-Rs 2000 For semester exam for-Rs 1500 Bus os provided by the college where fees is included within the admission fess

Campus Life

There is a festival called Technisia held in our college campus annually in the month of February and also there are many small activities like food fest, many many more are also held here There are more than 3000 books in the Library. There are group for the students created by the student union to soleve the problem the students are facing. There is also a sports week where many colleges from different areas participate The campus life for now in the college is not so good as ot is under development

Admission

I chose this college because it is nearer from my hometown.Firstly there is exam called CEE which is to cleared first to get selected for the councelling after qualifying the exam.Then as per your preference you get to select the college as per your choices.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:7 The relationship between the students and the teachers are very good. For anything to consult with the teachers,they are always available. The is held two exams in one semester,one is the mid term and another is the final semester exam.

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

The other colleges I applied for are aec, jec, jist, tezpur university, nits. I couldn't qualify for jee so I did get into tezpur university or nits. My rank wasn't that high in cee so I could not get a seat in AEC and JEC.
