- I liked the timing for the classes it was in the evening so I could do other things in the morning

Course Curriculum Overview
First thing that influenced me to choose this course would be the well qualified professors, their teaching methodology and their experience, it was a great experience being taught by them. The next thing would be the fees structure, the college provides the same courses available at other colleges but at a very affordable fees. The one thing I'd like the college to work on is the regularity of the professors for the classes.
Fees and Financial Aid
At the time of admission I paid 2300rs. as yearly admission fees For the next year the fees was 2050rs. And for the last year the fees was 2640rs. And the admission fees include the tuition fees was 670rs. for each semester The registration fees at the time of admission was 100rs. The exam fees was around 650rs. for BCOM course I don't have much idea about the fees of other courses. The scholarships are available to students from SC/ST category
Campus Life
We couldn't have the freshers event because it was during the pandemic, but we did had the farewell event.Other events that the college organised would be the independence day and republic day events were the NCC cadets participated in marching, we also had small concerts or rather say festivals organised by the college. The college also actively participated in inter-college sport matches like football, cricket, etc.
Admission
I applied to salesian college as well but in the end decided to not join the college and opted for Siliguri college of commerce basically because of the fees structure and also the timings for the classes, we had evening classes while gave us the opportunity to do many other things in the morning. I had scored good marks in my 12th boards so no I didn't get rejected by any college I applied to. The process for application in Siliguri college of commerce is quite easy, the student need to fill in the online application form provided by the collegeand submit it, if the students fullfill all the criteria then they are selected by the college.
Faculty
The teachers to student ratio was okay but it will be great if there were more professors hired by the college.But anyways the professors were good at their job. The college had only two faculties when I studied there - BCOM and BBA We had exams at the end of each semesters, some were hard some were easy depending on the subject and the students excellency in that particular subject
