Course Curriculum Overview

3

My course is BSc and I will be keeping my major as zoology as this course includes practical as well as theoretical knowledge I opted for this course. As we have theory and practical part as well we get to learn the real life applications and use of the particular lesson or practical it obviously helps us a lot in further academic pursuits I would suggest that this course should be more practical rather than theory In one Semester we have 2 exams and there are total 2 semester in one year the difficulty is mediocre and anyone can easily pass if she/he studies

Fees and Financial Aid

All of the amount is to be paid at once all the fees are included in it.You don't have to pay any other charges One of my batchmate who is from SC category paid 9000 for FY Scholarship is only for students who fall under EWS with score above 60%

Campus Life

3.5

Our college hosts many cultural festivals mainly and we have a very spacious auditorium for that And many art festivals as well few days ago our college hosted Job fair organizing by CM eknath shinde for youth The library is different for every college building engineering building has its own library and we have our own library our library doesn't have many books it mainly has course related books that too old and dusty Modern college is the best college if you play any sport the faculty also supports a lot and our college has significant achievements in every sports in the university games every year

Admission

I wanted to pursue my bachelors in Fergusson College but the cutoff was more as compared to my college I didn't get admission in Fergusson College. As my score was low in the 12th For my college you'll have to fill the online form on their official Website If you have minimum passing score you can get admission in my college.Mostly admission is based on 12th score for my course

Faculty

3.5

There are many teachers who teach one subject and the teachers are also polite and supportive and communicating with them is easy My favourite is the Physics department faculty very supportive and always helps the students There are 2 exams in a semester CIA and CIE according to the NEP. Our CIE ended on 4th September it is a 20 mark paper which is mostly objective and the passing marks are 8.Then we will be having our CIA before October which will be of 30 marks. Every student mostly clears CIE as it is not that difficult and often teachers help if you have a backlog in any of the paper of CIE CIA is descriptive as well as objective it is more hard compared to CIE The curriculum is strictly based on the course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
