- Placement stats is quite decent especially if you take consideration of current situation
- The quality of infrastructure is also decent especially when it comes to acadmic building

- There is loads of restriction on first year Maybe they will lift it in second semester but for first semester it's quite strict
- Hostel building needs some improvement especially bathroom
Course Curriculum Overview
For first year everyone has same curriculum and curriculum is strictly following NEP2020 So it's mix of technical course of all the branches with Human sciences courses So curriculum is good blend of necessary things In today's world I think you have to prepare yourself on your own for industry ready though our institute provides good mix of theory and practical to ready student But it's not all good institute need improvement in teaching as many faculty just reads the ppt without explaining anything
Internships Opportunities
Here senior gets internship in top companies like Google Microsoft for SDE And I have heard that there are many senior who are doing research in the institute in their 3rd year so if you are research enthusiast then you can avail ample amount of opportunities in research
Placement Experience
Student become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester The highest package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 173 LPA, which was offered to the students of the BTech CSE branch. Further, a total of 690 students were placed out of 952 eligible students. Apart from this, a total of 713 offers were made during NIT Hamirpur placements 2023. For now I am planning to sit for placement in my final year
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees I will be paying will 55200 Rs in first year, From second year I will be paying 42200 per year this is because I belong to Gen EWS with family income less than 1lac per year Tution fee for general student with family income more than 5lac is 62500 per semester One time fee include admission fee i.e. 1000 Identity card fee 500, Convocation fee 3000 Department society membership fee 1000 Institute caution money 5000 and student safety insurance fee 2500 If someone belong to SC/ST category then tution fee will be Zero and for student with family income between 1lac to 5 lac tution fee will be 20833 Overall in terms of affordability college is provided good facilities There is various scholarships but almost all of them are for reserved category for general there are some which offer scholarship based on merit for first year it is given based on jee rank and from 2nd year it's based on CGPI
Campus Life
Annual fest is Hillfair which is held in October and annual technical festival is Nimbus which is held is March Accessibility of books and journals is quite great as you can easily issue it from library College is filled with all kinds of clubs be it for sports or for extracurricular activites student has easy access to these things
Hostel Facilities
In KBH which they allot to First year there is ethernet pods and wifi is available in all the rooms a Student is provided a bed with chair and table in room Mess is decent not quite great and not so bad Registration process for hostel was quite easy and there were loads of senior helping first year at the time of physical reporting
Admission
I got these college based on my jee rank in csab I opt for this college as the placement stats was decent and I was attracted to college greenary To get admission in our college you have to clear jee mains exam and to get MnC branch you have to score more than 98.7percentile
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is just like any other national institute not that great and not that poor When it comes to teaching I think it depends on faculty, Some of the faculty are quite nice they make whole course interesting but some are just ppt Reader So it depends Till now I have found faculties very supportive especially my branch's faculties There is mid sem and end sem
