Course Curriculum Overview
First of all i choose my course because of the placements results of past years and curriculum is great .. there is a proper flow chart of learing the course . Proper subjects are divided into semeters As the year increases the subject toughness also increases . I would suggest to improve the learning materials so that it would be easy for the students to grab things
Internships Opportunities
I have applied for american express and done my intership there as a data analyst. In have done my projects such as hospital management system Stock prediction website Face detecting aap My stipend was about 12-20 k per month .
Placement Experience
The placements of my college are great . The companies visiting to my college is same over past years . The companies had a good relations with our college . From semeter 4 the students are eligible for campus interships. And from semeters 6 the students are eligible for campus placement which includes ppo. The highest package gone upto 34 lpa last to last year Almost 70-80% students get placed every year. My plan after getting degree is to experience coopate life and then i decided to go abroad for my masters .
Fees and Financial Aid
Total semester fees paid - 260000 Tution fees - 1,40,000 Development fees - 57000 Registration fees - 20000 Other fees - 43000 The other batchmates for categories other than mine are also paying the full semester fees . There is no as such finicial benifits to them . Other than a scholarship test is conduted in which if they socre good they would be provided scholarship The scholarship is based on merit which includes to 90% fees reduction from the candidate
Campus Life
There are mainly three annual fest conduted in our college which included THAPAR FOOD FESTIVAL (TFF) , SATURNALIA , URJA (SPORTS FEST) Tff is held during the month of october Saturnalia is held during november Urja is held during February Besides this there are total 48 societies in our college which includes both tech and non- tech societies.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure is great . I have provides a ac 2 seater room with attached washroom . The mess and meal quality is also great . Hostels are provied based on your cgpa And then our üniversitey has a app for seleting the room and all the process is conducted on the aap very smoothly.
Admission
I choose this college because of its abroad relations. My college has good abroad relations . The eligibility criteria is based on jee main merit . This is different for different categories . My overall addmission process is smooth. No hassle is there for addmision . The addmission faculty is also cooperative.
Faculty
The faculty memebers are good. The faculty to student ratio is also good . There are almost 30-40 faculty for each department . The approach to faculty is through their respective mail id. The department head of my department mrs shalini batra is great professor and has great nature . There are total 2 exam of each subject that is mid semester exams and end semester exams including lab evalutions and sessionals (quizs) . The exams are not that much difficult but yes the faculties are cooperative
