College is overall good but the facilities outside the college are limited.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course has been revised and is now up to date. Also, various courses have been added like Python in the first year itself. My batch (2019) which got admitted in 2015 wasn't lucky enough to get these revised courses. The exam structure really helps the students to easily pass their respective subjects.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college have seen a gradual rise in the past year. Due to the formation of placement cell in our college placements have been smooth enough.
College Events
There are many events that happen in our college on a yearly basis the main being Lei Festus and sports event named Parakram. We also have a Literary club that organizes MUN in our college itself. Then we have the Rotary Club ad LEO Club that revolves around society.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is around 130k per semester which includes both the tuition fee as well as hostel fees. My first-year fee was around 160k. We also had development fees but was later discarded and merged into tuition. Also, the fee is slightly increased every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt for any educational loan or any scholarship. My parents used to pay the fee off their salary accumulated in six months.
Campus Life
The gender ratio in my college is almost 10:7. We have students from all over north India and also some from the south. We have a sports club which organizes sports events and also the labs and internal structure is well maintained. The literary club takes care of the debate section.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students were a lot of help in learning all the basics of college life and they also helped us with the studies and stuff.
Admission
I got admission at JUIT through JEE Mains. A candidate securing his rank within 2 Lakh can easily get Computer Science at JUIT. The counseling process is held at the campus itself and you'll be required to be present with all the aforementioned papers. The process is smooth and help is provided at each step. The counseling dates are usually at the end of July around 25.
Faculty
The faculty is good enough in the college and most of them are helpful enough. The faculty is mostly post graduated with thorough knowledge in their respective subjects and has been quite helpful throughout the years. Also, the faculty helps students in many ways be it studies or any issue related to any event.
